Hannity Blasts FreeRepublic (maybe he is right)
Radio
| Sean Hannity

Hannity just stated on his radio show that he has just about had enough of the conservative cannibals on this board. To many threads end up being ledd about news and information and more about attacking fellow conservatives.
He said if he wants to get attacked he will go to a Liberal board.
I have a tendency to agree...

" For those bemoaning the lack of civility , remember that It's just a debate between the naive and the informed " .
I think that the tap root can go a 'lil deeper here . Civility goes back to the home front and the upbringing , and I am hopeful that it is the parents who are the Dorian columns in this case .
Naive . Informed .
I often wonder why more people do not seem to approach this forum with the mindset of being open to learn more and at the same time , placing themselves in the position of being a teacher / mentor to others .
Granted , MurryMom is beyond salvage .. but imagine the potential army we could develope 2-3 5-10 years down the road .
The potential alone is inspiring !

The christian element within the Republican party some of it good and some of it harmful should shy away from airing their puritanical views about sex etc. That just pisses some otherwise conservative people off.

Gee, kristinn, as someone else said, I just don't get your hand-wringing. Shall we worry if Drudge "brought" us to this site, and now we don't agree with his "postures" anymore? I don't think so. Things change, life evolves, and perhaps some are exposed for what they always were.

"No, those Paleos, Buchanan and Keyes supporters are actually the true crackpots whose idea of patriotism is to follow a demagogic man on horseback who they consider to be the embodiment of "true Americanism". In the 1920 most of them would have been Klansmen and in the '30s, America Firsters or Bundists."You consider Alan Keyes to be the embodiment of a Klansmen?

No none of the criticism of Pinochet is valid. Ive heard some bad things about Franco's Spain( the cops would blow away random people and claim they were commies with no evidence Ive heard this don't know if its true). But conservatives should look at Pinochet's Chile like god's kingdom on Earth.

Your confusing use of hyperbole is just not effective.
To: Fred Mertz
No, it was just a statement of fact.It wasn't that, either.
To: cicero's_son
Would you be surprised if that post was actually about Ronald Reagan?
To: DaughterOfAnIwoJimaVet
Yes it was.

Look, it's the internet. ANYBODY can post. The celebrities who expect deference from an open forum are just being dumb.... if not prima donnas. You have to read the whole thread in every instance. I get the feeling that the high mucky mucks catch a few stupid and or nasty posts and suddenly that's all they see. They take their keyboard and go home. Poor babies. Stay out of the internet if you can't stand the heat ... or foolshness, as the case may be.

puritanical views about sex etc. Such as?
To: sinkspur
I do not mind reading your comments and I even like reading your comments supporting President Bush. You haven't been as spunky lately though. WHY?
To: Texasforever
I think this chap in his high hormonal phase is suggesting that the GOP should avoid being unduly interested in the sex lives of young people, all things being equal. You can take it from there.

Beckie,
In all honesty, don't you think you've done enough baiting for the night?

I would like to see one instance of someone's mind being changed by any discussion on this (or any other) web site.
Peace.

I just looked at your profile and I do say that you come across as a person who has a tremendous positive attitude . Its ok to be behind enemy lines , even when you seem to be alone !
Often times when you are alone behind enemy lines you are in a more strategic posture to damage the enemy severely. It is a mindset my friend ...
