No, it was our elected hypocrytes who pulled this one. But I thought you'd like to see a man getting publicly "reamed".

Actually, many in the GOP were edging in his favor on the delay vote. He understands the political reality. This was a terrible time to vote on expulsion, when both parties need to look more pure. I'm sure he appreciated the strong call for delay. What's that supposed to mean. The SOBs voted against him. They wanted him out as much as the Dems did. What consolation is it that some were willing to at least support a delay in the proceedings. "I'm sure he appreciated..." Give me a break. With all due respect, that is a stupid comment.
The facts are he was voted out by all those good people you say supported him.

It didn't take 'em long to zap his webpage either......

If you become a Dimocrat and keep your blinders on the future will look GREAT. Best of luck to you.

"Present" seems to me quite a proper vote for a member who thought Traficant was guilty (and the evidence does seem to establish that he is,) but who objected to the proceeding. Disagree, "present" should have been used by everyone who thought he was innocent but didn't have the cajones to say so.

It didn't take 'em long to zap his webpage either.... Not only is the webpage gone, that URL now hits a redirect to the House Clerk's website, press release and all. It had to have been prepared in advance.
BTW, even Google's cached copies of Traficant's web page hit the same redirect. I'll say this for the vindictive ones, they were thorough.

Call it stupid if you like. But believe me, he does have a few friends in congress. Not many mind you. But he understands the political realities.

Thanks for your support. Since this is Free Republic, folks with superiority complexes or who have no life at all (no people in person to pick on) feel they have free reign to take out their rotten day on someone here at FR.
How we look at our days is up to us. Today wasn't bad and even Trafficant was chipper today. He was on Hannity's radio show.

I'm sorry, I had you confused with someone else that was writing to me in Freep mail. I mixed up my replies.
