When are the people of Arizona going to wake up and give this clown his walking papers. Thanks a lot Arizona. He is an embarrassment to his own state and even worse for our country. Yes I blame the people of Arizona for keeping this clown in office. He is an ASS.

That egomaniac loser is so irrelevant he's almost beneath Algore. Not "almost beneath Algore" but "beneath Algore". At least SoreLoser Al admits that he is a dimocRat.

John McCain used to be a hero of mine. I believe he used to be a Republican. But power corrupts. What is it with former military officers who are conservatives that makes them change-Politics is the answer. The same happened to a former hero of mine: John Glenn. A coincidence is they were both involved in the Keating 5 scandal. Glenn among other things, tried to block the Clinton impeachment. Now McCain is acting like a democrat. You can't survive in Washington unless you play that game.Politics corrupts.

If you want to call eleven acres a ranch, go ahead. Who knows, he might be able to run a few head, and that would make him a cowman, no?

I don't know what makes the difference between a ranch and a farm and a home or whatever. I recall it being referred to as a ranch last year when the meeting took place, but I don't care if they met at a little league baseball field or a hair salon, they met to discuss switching parties.

My point is this, there has been an inordinate amount of crap written on this bozo. And over the years the crap has become mountainous. When McCain was captured he stated to his captors "I will give you military intelligence if you will take me to the hospital." Within 48 hours the Viet Minh knew they had the "Crown Prince" , the son of the commander-in-chief of US forces in Europe and treated him accordingly. Unlike others in POW camps he would not die, and the Viets would see to it. Returning home he dumped his wife and married an Arizona heiress who offered him entree to the world that he knew, that his father knew, and that his family knew -- inside the Beltway. He was an easy touch and fell into the trap of supporting very questionable types who gave to his campaigns. He managed to survive, because Arizona was forgiving to putative Republicans.
The capstone to the McCain career was his absolutely manaical campaign that he ran against G.W. How was it possible that a screwed up flyboy like him, who never took an order he didn't want to disobey, could lose to some National Guard pilot -- who he knew with his "widow-maker" could fly rings around him. Doesn't the world realize that the McCains of the Beltway and of academy privelige were better than the Bushes of Kennebunkport. The problem is, of course, that they are not. The McCains are a coven of screw-ups and the personification of the Peter Principle, and they have been for more than a century.
I could go on, but McCain is such an easy target, such a bufoon it doesn't seem worthwhile. But then, the man will do anything to achieve power, and that is something that Americans should not forget.

You seem to be arguing with me and I feel like I agree with most of what you say, though I don't know the exact details of his returning home and getting married etc. The title of this thread was about John McCain not being conservative, and I totally agree that he is not.

Thank you!

McCain is a "log-cabin" Republican that is having a difficult time coming to terms with it. Come on out of
the closet Johnnie Boy.
