[NORTH TEXAS CATHOLIC FREEPERS] Bishop Bruskewitz, Michael Rose Headline Pre-USCCB-Conference Panel
Catholics United for the Faith, St. Stephen the Martyr Chapter ^ | 2002.06.10 | Catholics United for the Faith

Posted on 06/10/2002 11:44:50 AM PDT by B-Chan

Attention, North Texas Catholic Freepers and others: Catholics United for the Faith, St. Stephen the Martyr Chapter, will be sponsoring a panel discussion on the topic "The State of Catholicism in the United States and the Bishops' Conference in Dallas" on Friday, 14 June 2002 at 7:00 p.m. The panel, which will be held in the auditorium of St. Therese Academy in Irving, Texas, features the following distinguished speakers:

Russell Shaw, author and frequent contributor to Crisis Magazine

Philip Lawler, editor of Catholic World Report

Helen Hull Hitchcock, Editor, Adoremus

Leon Suprenant, National President, Catholics United for the Faith

Michael Rose, noted author of Goodbye, Good Men

Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz, Diocese of Lincoln, Nebraska

A lineup like this obviously is not to be missed! Coming as it does on the eve of the USCCB conference at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, this panel discussion is sure to be informative, enlightening, and inspiring.

The pro-sodomy, pro-modernist lobby will be well represented on the streets outside the Fairmont. Will orthodox, traditional Catholics? Any Freepers interested in getting together at this event, or who have plans to attend or demonstrate outside the USCCB conference, please contact me by FreepMail or here on this thread.

Yours in Christian Fraternity,

B-chan

Never forget that the mass media people who are now ranting and roaring against Catholic priests who have committed or covered up homosexual abuse are the same mass media people who ranted and roared against the Boy Scouts' policy of not permitting homosexuals to serve as scoutmasters. The utter hypocrisy here is appalling. The hideously sinful nature of the pederasts' behaviour does not mean that those who expose it are necessarily on the side of the angels.

"Suffice it to think of the New York Times campaign against homosexual priests, one of the rare cases in which the sin is loved but not the sinner." Great quote from Father Neuhaus.

Anyone who always refers to the scandal as pedophilia is engaged in homosexual coverup. Just heard Sean Hannity only refer to 'pedophilia' priests. Anybody hear Rush on this?

"Never forget that the mass media people who are now ranting and roaring against Catholic priests..."

Yup. They have no problem with NAMBLA, they promote sodomy, think it's a cool way to advance population control, did nothing about Michael Jackson's, Barney Frank's problems, or Bill Clinton's Juanita Broaddrick romp, etc., etc. If priests should go to jail for buggering teen boys, why not Clinton for raping a woman? You know what libs said about that? Oh, yeah, "charges from 25 years ago..."
