Guy supposedly attacks women with Sony Walkman radios, but doesn't actually take the radio. Chandra still had hers with her too. He's foreign, probably not too bright, and has in court admitted guilt to two previous assualts and was given a small sentence.

How did they catch him in the cases involving the two women if he came up from behind? Did both women ID him? Or was it just the one with congressional contacts who did? Or did neither of them ID him?

And both of these cases occured AFTER Chandra turned up missing.

How much would it cost to get a dumb foreign bum to 'wrassle' with two women and then let them go? Enough to make him lose interest in a Sony Walkman?

I dunno, could be more of a case of 6 Degrees of Bloated Beauracracy(6 Degrees of Robert Byrd?) than indication of another attempted Democide. Who within 100 miles of DC DOESN'T have a connection to gov't?

This suspect's m.o. seems to be to use a knife, but I read last night that Levy's skull was cracked. That would take a pretty significant smash to the head with a blunt instrument.

'Scuse me...but what's today's date? Oh, almost exactly one year since this alleged second attack? Uh huh. Anniversaries are great, aren't they?

All police forces all over the country should use "DC investigative method" , by which investigators simply wait until exactly one year from the date of the crime, then PRESTO!!! ...they find the bidy, a cnvenient witness, AND A CONVENIENT SUSPECT, all IN THE SAME WEEK!! Easy, huh? Just think of the tax dollars that'll be saved!!

Methinks I smell a park crazy being turned into a convenient scapegoat by the DC police.

She's leaving town in 3-4 days, but decides to go jogging in a park she's never been in before, in fact, she has to look up the location on the web...???

She wasn't going there just to jog, she was going there to meet someone...someone who told Chandra to meet here there perhaps ostensibly to jog, but if jogging is your sole objective, you put on your jogging clothes, you go outside and jog. Period.

This was a set up.

I think the body was planted, and it was planted there this month because of this guy's assaults in the area, which give it an explanation.

One of the details which they keep talking about is confusing me. According to reports, she was looking up Rock Creek Park on her computer. However, other reports said she jogged there regularly. Which is it?? Had she ever been to that park before or not? If she was a regular jogger there, why on earth would she be looking it up on the computer?

Also, when Condit was making his midnight trips around D.C., is Rock Creek anywhere near where he was??

Just two weeks earlier, Levy, 24, disappeared after looking up a map of Rock Creek Park. She logged off her computer at about 1 p.m. May 1. Her keys and a ring, but not her ID, were missing from her apartment.

Remember how Chandra told her aunt that Condit always wanted her to leave her ID at home whenever they were scheduled to meet, in case a member of the press saw them together?

There's no doubt that Chanra was on her way to meet Condit the day she disappeared.
