I've been saying this for quite some time too. Those 900 FBI files go a long way in explaining what the 'toons get away with. They've got something on just about everybody in congress, not to mention plenty of journalists, etc. Nothing sticks to the 'toons for just that reason.

And just why is Bush 41 a knucklehead? Is it his
fault that Clinton sticks his nose into everything? May
be you haven't seen or heard interviews where he has
said that he tries really hard not to interfere with his
son's administration. He gives advice when asked, but
otherwise lets him alone to make his own way? (Not exact
words) He always says that he had his chance, now it is
the son's turn. Isn't that the way it should be? After
all, even if he did; some knot-head would say 43 is not
up for the job; because he has to have his 'daddy' do it
for him!

Also, it is entirely possible that the Bush administ- stunt. They can't keep their eyes on Clinton at all
times. He is an ex-president. Although he is always
under some suspicious cloud; he hasn't been convicted of
anything (Unfortunately). With most other American ex-
presidents, we would expect them to at least in-form
the current one of it's dealings with foreign figures,
But not Clinton, he hasn't got the decency. With Clin-
ton, the rules other ex's follow, he figures he doesn't
have to follow. We have come ot expect that of him.

With clinton, he pushes the packet enough that it is
merely shady, but never quite criminal. Someday, they
will hopefully find something that will really stick to
him. Someday he and his followers will let down their
guard, and he will be exposed again. Then they can
catch him.

Then my question to Bush is why protect Clintoon by denying Burton and committee access to records about illegal fund raising during the criminal's last years in office. Doesn't make sense to me unless Clinton has the goods on George.

He should be investigated for espionage, as would any other American citizen who had an unscheduled, unpublicized, undocumented, meeting with the head of a state which sponsors terrorism, that took place in the dead of night.
So I guess as long as it is a scheduled, publicized, and documented meeting with a head of state that sponsors terrorism, it's okay? I'm sure President Bush will be glad to hear that, so you don't go yelling "citizen's arrest, citizen's arrest" at him. If you or I wanted to meet with some Crown Prince and the Crown Prince wanted to meet with us, there's no law stopping it, precisely because we are private citizens. Clinton can't formulate U.S. foreign policy because he doesn't work for the U.S. government, just like Carter can meet with Castro, and they can shoot the sh*t all they want. BTW, since Clinton gets Secret Service coverage, as do heads of state while in the U.S., our actual government certainly was aware of this meeting, publicized or not.

I, too, think the crown prince is a terrorist, regardless of whether he meets with Bush or Clinton. That was not the subject of my post.

There is so much to not like about Bush now, I was merely focussing on how he lets Rat x-Potuses basically step on him with golf shoes.

It would take many, many, threads to talk about the shortcomings of W, though, I applaud your reply.

But, Bush has a lot of power now, Clinton, much less.

If Clinton and Carter continue to perform ad hoc foreign policy excursions that Bush does not like, Bush has every right to hassle the two clowns with the usual tools in his toolbox: the FBI, the CIA, maybe a special investigator, maybe just a sh*tty letter from the Attorney General. Whatever.

How about just a condemnation of their behavior in a press conference?

I am appalled at the blatant attempts to undermine the present administration, especially during this time of War. bubba goes out of his way ....Most recently, he re-stated his opinion President Bush is not the rightful President of the United States emphasisng he did not win the popular vote. Regardless of one's opinion, he should know (as an ex-president and a lawyer) the popular vote means nothing in a Presidential Election. And yet, he will spread propaganda to millions of voters ignorant of how the electorial college works, in order to maintain a power base. He took an oath to uphold the Constitution, and yet lies about a part of the Constitution the dems do not like. (nb: no, I am not surprised, just pissed)

Carter has gone surpassed dasshole's criticism of President Bush while Bush was out of the country. ex-President Jimmy Carter has gone to a foreign country, a totalitarian country, a country run by a murderous dictator and stood side by side with the dictator and accused the administration of LYING to him regrding Cuba.

IMHO, these acts are worse than any committed by bubba (although those acts led to our current state of affairs). And yet...WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE!!!!!!

As I said a few weeks ago, the Saudis will force Bush's hand by using ex-Presidents to design their own version of a 'peace plan'. What they are basically saying is that they don't recognize the validity of the Bush administration and since we are so dependent on the commodity they breed over there is not a damn thing that the President can do about it.

President Bush needs to let the world know that Bubba has no authority to negotiate US policy, that he couldn't do it when he headed the US administration, and the PRESIDENT considers clinton's antics are counterproductive and downright dangerous.

Clinton did "volunteer" his "services" as unofficial Mideast peace envoy. I recall that Colin Powell publicly declined the "offer".
