And Morgan is up there in age and so respected, it probably doesn't matter in terms of getting good parts.

What you say is true though, Bruce Willis.. Mel Gibson..Eastwood..Ahnold all were not well known as Libertarians/conservatives until they were successful enough that it didn't matter.

...it was obvious he was having the time of his life playing the gruff Master Sargent.

That's Sergeant Major to you son. Now, drop and give me 25! ;)

I have so much admiration for this guy. I only feel sorry for him that he will now get a "talking to" by Hollywood liberals about not toeing the liberal line. He's got guts for saying this about Bush. Btw, he was great as Easy Reader on Electric Company, but he was also good in his other roles on the show. I remember when I saw him in movies years later I couldn't believe it was this guy I grew up watching on TV.

And I think he is STILL whining about Bush.

My, My, My. Three namecallings in one post. Did somebody forget to take their medication today?

Go into the garage, look for the sporting equipment storage area, locate a ball bat, and whack yourself with it. You will feel better, then you will remember to take your medicine.

Now go do as your told, and don't forget to call your therapist this afternoon and tell him what a naughty boy you have been.

Do I get out of the PT if I mention the movie was 25 years ago?

Perhaps not, still was great to see him walking on base saying to a private wishing him good morning.. 'How do you know what kind of GD day it is?'

I had no idea he was a Skahesperian actor, though I can see it now with the way he carries himself in most films..

He just proposed yesterday a new "entitlement" that senior citizens will have. A drug card.

After you catch your breath, let me know if you RBAs support your hero on this one.

No, I made a comment about you. If you couldn't see it, I'm not surprised. I just don't want you to hyperventilate too much on one thread. Take deep breaths, underwater.

The fact that he is an excellent actor (who you see in quite a few "colorless roles,..."

I like seeing 'colorless roles' like his POTUS in Deep Impact... it wasn't like, "Hey, I'm a black President! I'm the President -- and I'm black! Look out, whitey, 'cause I'm in charge now!"... He was just a well-played President who happened to be black. Sort of like Glenn Close in Air Force One as a VP who happened to be female, without a bunch of discussion or self-congratulatory fanfare over that fact.

Saw the real vets interviewed on "History vs. Hollywood" on the History Channel.

Interviewer asks if the Master Sergeant was really that much of a tough SOB (as portrayed by Elliot).

Reply from vets, unanimous (or nearly so):

"He captured the Sergeant perfectly..."

Maybe Danny Glover? I just can't remember.

Danny Glover is an avid socialist. It's a shame he had to be in so many movies with a good guy like Mel Gibson.

Something tells me Hollywood already knows his political leanings. He should have won about 4 Academy Awards by now. He is not a good actor, he is one of the few great actors in America.

Hollywood is filled with condescending liberal racists who probably pay no mind to Freeman's political views or his scary military service because they wouldn't know how to engage him in a discussion about it.

I guess that means you are making "no comment" on your boy's newest government expansion. Too much prozak to contemplate that stuff I guess.

As I have said many times Bush is the most conservative electable politician in America. He is not my hero though I think he has done a great job wrt to the attack on America by the Murderous Minions of Mad Mo(Piss be upon his head.)

I am not in favor of new entitlements. However, the vast majority of Americans seem to favor this welfare statism so until that is changed such proposals do not cause me excessive pain. At present my main object is assisting the war against the followers of Islame who are attacking us.

Until the population changes its thinking we will not escape such proposals. This can only be done gradually and slowly and will never be done by people who cannot understand the difference between Democrats and Republicans or by third parties.

People who understand politics understand that compromise is a necessity and sometimes they won't get all that they want at the time they want it. Childish people otoh think their way is the only way and unless they can get what they want when they want it then they will just blast and attack.

You won't see me attacking Bush as long as he is providing leadership against the main problem the attacks from the Murderous Morons of Mad MO (Piss be upon his head.)

Hey! No wonder you like this new program, it will help you pay for your mental illness meds with someone else's money! I should have figured that out right away.
