Does (Person + Explosives + Restaurant) x 200 = Planes + Fuel + World Trade Center

The diplomatic 'math' of combatting terrorists doesn't add up.

Sorry, you'll have to do better than that.
Have NO idea what you're talking about?

Everybody including BUSH knows that Arafat is a terrorist.
Bush has to wink at Isreal while at the same time "condemn" their actions towards the Palestinians.
That is of course unless we want to fight the entire Arab world, which I'm inclined to think isn't going to be in our hands for long anyway.
Arafat should be shot just on principle, but then the problem is only compounded.

When does 'homocide bombing' stop and terrorism begin?
The difference between Arafat and Usama is the not the crimes, but the magnitude of the crimes. The response to the 'homocide bombers' should be no less than the response to the World Trade Center, IMHO.

Actually, right after 9/11, some federal agency (maybe the NSA) announced that they had calculated that the velocity of the planes + the fuel = a 20 megaton device and thus, for crimes-against-humanity-in-the -world-court-reasons, they were Weapons Of Mass Destruction....

20 megaton would have vaporized the whole south end of Manhattan, at a minimum. Maybe someone said 20 kiloton, but I would guess that 1-2 kiloton would be more realistic. Remember, 10-20 kiloton killed c. 80,000 at Hiroshima.

I think I know what your question is.
I have heard a few Israeli spokespeople use the term PROPORTIONAL, and that is an accurate statement. e.g. If one country has 300 million people and loses 3 thousand in an incident, it is PROPORTIONALLY equivalent to smaller county, say 30 million people suffering losses of 300. Capiche?
Now I have a question. When will the suicide bombers begin hitting us on our shores? I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.

Well, I mean the smaller scale ones, those who wrap themselves in explosives and hit the Walmart garden shops on a busy Saturday morning.

When will the suicide bombers begin hitting us on our shores? I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. We've had it happening for several years now, only they aren't comitted to killing themselves in the process.Think mcveigh, unabomber, abortion clinic bombers
If your talking suicide bombers from the mid-east....well put yourself in the shoes of somebody controlling the suicide bombers (and it's a safe bet they are controlled). This is ignoring everything that led upto 9/11 and 9/11 itself.
You've just watched the US dismantle OBL's network (and perhaps OBL himself) half-way around the world. The US received an incredibly large amount of support. They are not "occupying" your land. They are not actively fighting your people. They can go damn near anywhere they please. They can dismantle the half-dozen countries that would give you refuge. The supply chain needed to setup suicide bombers in America would be easily cut off by the Americans and would be complex and too long.
You've got a country like Israel, where you can mingle with thousands upon thousands of people who support you in concentrated locations just a few miles away - if your discovered, the Israeli's would have to fight through a lot of innocent civilians as well as guilty. You've got an incredibly thin claim to the land, but a claim others outside of Israel support. You've got the world on your side. You can kill a few Israeli's here and a few there and not suffer at all. Your network is not going to be dismantled, because you can blend in so well.
Looking at it from a financial position, you get more bang for your buck in Israel.
Looking at it from an engineering standpoint, and keeping it simple, you have more chance of success in Israel.
Which target do you choose?

Well they are you know, and they can. 911 proved that. Forget long supply lines, everything they need they already have inside US!
But from Bush down, from the U.N. down, no one wants to admit who the real enemy is: insane Muslim jihadists. It just staggers the imagination and shatters too many comfortable myths, like your own.

One way, no. One human death is equivalent to one human death. But in the context of dealing with terrorists, yes. If one is talking about the impact on a nation, that must be done in a national context, in terms of the nation's population. Israel has already suffered far more from terrorist attacks (and others as provided by members of the Arab League) than the United States has and probably ever will. For every reason the U.S. has to fight terrorists wherever they are, Israel has the same reasons to be fighting Arafat and his related organizations AND the nations that sponsor him.

I wish you had read, I said pre-9/11 for a reason. But let's buy into your "myth". Why have they went after Israel instead of us?
We've had a few religious holidays, a few big sporting events since 9/11. I don't see the bombers. It takes no training. By your views, we should be crawling with them. Just get somebody into the country, send them e-mail or teach them beforehand what household chemicals or diesel/fertilizer combos are needed. They should be blowing up all over the US on a daily basis!
The only bombers we've had, have been white American males. The suicide bombers (and again, I'm not talking 9/11, it's not in the same league as your typical suicide bomber) are going after a country that can be a lot tougher when it comes to some things (say tortue) than us. Something to think about.

By the way when do you suppose the mooslims will "hijack" say an Egyptair plane and crash it into some Israeli site like the Knesset or hotel or hospital?

I noticed you pre-911 comment, but I am suggesting that the suicide bombers are already in place in the U.S. and therefore they don't need long supply lines, and that the U.S. singled out OBL in error for he was only one of many like Arafat. Furthermore I am suggesting that 911 = suicide bombing by insane Muslim jihadists (though on a different scale and with planes not body bombs). Insame Muslims on a jihad against America attacked by suicide. INSANE MUSLIMS ON A JIHAD AGAINST AMERICA ATTACKED BY SUICIDE.
Do you get it now?
The first and most important rule is to know your enemy, and the U.S. does not.

You are absolutely right, but ignoring the real problem won't make it go away. Like a person with a boil, deciding to call it a pimple won't make it any less painful. Like a boil, the real problem will simply go on getting bigger and uglier and more painful until, something gives.
