Everybody including BUSH knows that Arafat is a terrorist.
Bush has to wink at Isreal while at the same time "condemn" their actions towards the Palestinians.
That is of course unless we want to fight the entire Arab world, which I'm inclined to think isn't going to be in our hands for long anyway.
Arafat should be shot just on principle, but then the problem is only compounded.

Actually, right after 9/11, some federal agency (maybe the NSA) announced that they had calculated that the velocity of the planes + the fuel = a 20 megaton device and thus, for crimes-against-humanity-in-the -world-court-reasons, they were Weapons Of Mass Destruction....

I think I know what your question is.
I have heard a few Israeli spokespeople use the term PROPORTIONAL, and that is an accurate statement. e.g. If one country has 300 million people and loses 3 thousand in an incident, it is PROPORTIONALLY equivalent to smaller county, say 30 million people suffering losses of 300. Capiche?
Now I have a question. When will the suicide bombers begin hitting us on our shores? I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.

Does (Person + Explosives + Restaurant) x 200 = Planes + Fuel + World Trade Center
One way, no. One human death is equivalent to one human death. But in the context of dealing with terrorists, yes. If one is talking about the impact on a nation, that must be done in a national context, in terms of the nation's population. Israel has already suffered far more from terrorist attacks (and others as provided by members of the Arab League) than the United States has and probably ever will. For every reason the U.S. has to fight terrorists wherever they are, Israel has the same reasons to be fighting Arafat and his related organizations AND the nations that sponsor him.
