Ray was interviewed by Steve Malzberg a couple of weeks ago. When asked about the evidence in the Ford building, including info on Juanita Broaddrick, Ray said he was proud of the investigation, the highest executive wasn't above the law, New Jersey voters should focus on the economy (Ray is running for Senator), we should move on. Malzberg, after the commercial break, noted that the info would be unsealed in 2048, which is just around the corner.

Note to Mr. Ray - don't expect to receive my vote.

that may be...But it doesn't change the fact that Ronald Reagan's administration was proven to be much more corrupt than Slick's, from the perspective of the American system of laws and justice. I know that it's not be easy to live with, but it is the way it is,based onthe laws of our country.

That's like saying that a man ticketed five times for jaywalking is more corrupt than O.J. Simpson.

A little newsflash for you Charlie, we no longer have a system of law and justice in this country. It is not really that much different from a lot of third world countries. Our country is more technologically advanced and has a really good military, but in practice, the United States is not really that different. When you have a country that has one set of rules for one group of people, and another set of rules for everyone else, that's a third world country. We refused to hear a case because the criminal in question was popular. Even if the Senate heard the case, they still would have refused to convict, because the criminal in question was popular.

The justice system has been broken, and the American people broke it. The majority of the population in this country said in loud and clear terms, that they DID NOT CARE what crimes were committed by the president. The economy was too good to be jeopordized. Seventy some percent of our own country men sold out the principle of law and justice rather quickly. I'm not proud of this, and I think that everyone else on this forum thinks the same way.

I don't know what took possession of the American mind and soul. Sloth, laziness, apathy, lust, dishonesty or maybe a combination of all of the above. I guess that it is something more of morbid curiousity that drives me to wondering how people could betray principle in a country founded purely on principle. Do you remember how Linda Tripp was crusified in the press for bringing forward evidence? You cannot have a system of Law and Justice in a country that refuses to support it. If anybody ever wonders as to how Hitler gained power in Germany in the 1930's, they need only to look at America in the 1990's.

Sorry, your logic is flawed. We have evidence that a crime took place. The proof is needed to convict someone of that crime. A dead body is evidence that a crime took place, even if nobody is ever convicted.

You seem to be working on a new klintonian mantra, to go along with "you will find no evidence". I find it interesting that every accusation of wrongdoing against the klinton krime kartel was answered with "you will find no evidence", rather than "I didn't do it".

No. It wasn't my first choice, but what I did want was already taken. I came up with it in a hurry as I wanted to dive into the Freeper forum. Although I like the name because of its obvious Southerness, I have often wished I had taken a bit more time to choose because, frankly, I don't feel worthy. I constantly find myself being careful not to do anything to tarnish the name, and sometimes it becomes quite burdensome. I guess you could say that I have inadvertently painted myself into a corner of having to (at least try) to be a better person. Mars Lee still wields great influence.
