Daddy Bill Clinton took his daughter and her beau, the pride of Belvedere Ca., Ian Klaus, around the new Tate Modern Art Gallery in London last week.
Says a conviently placed Londoner to a London paper, 'President Clinton seemed comfortable with Ian and glad that his daughter found a decent man.'
The trio toured the galleries with the rest of the public, but with a security detail of 12
Bubba bought drinks for the young couple.
Chelsea and Ian, who met at a rally of students at Oxford post-9/11, are expected to announce their engagement by June
In case you are wondering, Klaus's parents, the eminent and respectable Robin and Patricia of Belvedere, are both longtime Democrats.

**And BoP, don't start in again with me, you're just too tedious for words. As long as we're paying the freight for these people, we have a right to criticize their actions all we want. **
Worth saying again!

Do you not remember...Chelsea photographed sitting in on the peace negotiations at Camp David?Just to refresh ChrisM's memory about Chels helping out at the peace talks. It's as ridiculous as when Jimmah Cahteh got Amy to sit in on some meeting and asked for her advice.

I know people who knew her there, described her as unfriendly and intellectually pompous and yet she can do no wrong according to some people (she sounds a bit like her mother, now that I think of it). Surprise ... Surprise.. lol

"I don't know what his problem is"...
He doesn't have a problem, according to him...we do.
Chris, aka, Bo...has never waivered from his defense of Chelsea. He's been at it for years. AND, he is good at it...very good.
We don't have to take the bait.

We don't have to take the bait. You're right! I engaged with him a while back, but it's too boring, his arguments are always the same, he's like a broken record. Grew quite tiresome after a short while.

The guy that Chelsea is currently dating is a Rhodes Scholar. Even though I do not agree with Cecil Rhodes' philosophies and intentions, only the brightest students get picked up for this extremely exclusive scholarship.

only the brightest students get pickedBill Clinton notwithstanding, that is. I have no doubt Ian was a good student in college. My comment was directed to the fact that he and Chelsea don't spend their time at Oxford even though they're both supposedly working on graduate degrees there, and the university reportedly has found them in violation of rules requiring a certain minimal presence at school.

You are very correct about that one. Their exploits off campus have been reported a lot by the media. Probably their status is the only thing that keeps them in.

Thanks for the pic, let us not forget who we are dealing with here.
