Daddy Bill Clinton took his daughter and her beau, the pride of Belvedere Ca., Ian Klaus, around the new Tate Modern Art Gallery in London last week.
Says a conviently placed Londoner to a London paper, 'President Clinton seemed comfortable with Ian and glad that his daughter found a decent man.'
The trio toured the galleries with the rest of the public, but with a security detail of 12
Bubba bought drinks for the young couple.
Chelsea and Ian, who met at a rally of students at Oxford post-9/11, are expected to announce their engagement by June
In case you are wondering, Klaus's parents, the eminent and respectable Robin and Patricia of Belvedere, are both longtime Democrats.

Enough extra credit to lose an entire year of university education? The Toons used vaseline to get this kid through college. um...I didn't mean that in the way it might be taken.
To: Teacup
If she's preggars you'd think x42id and junior senator #97 would use it as a PR stunt for the wonderful world of *choice*..ie: abortion.

I am only defending Chelsea because of the extremely rude nature of some of her attackers. What's it to you? what is your strange obession with Chelsea? Paul Begela is this you? Shame on you.

Oh hell no! Those rules only apply to us little people. Besides, don't you know? Hillary and Bill are sooo much smarter than us. They were elected so that they can tell US how to live. The rules don't apply to Chelsea....WILLBERRRRRR.

what's the scoop? Oh .. Well The WPOC was out shopping one day with actor Anthony Hopkins and The WPOC got caught buying a thong .. and well his brilliant PR Staff came up with the great idea to say he bought it for Chelsea
I don't know about anyone else .. But if my father ever bought me a thong .. I would be totally grossed out ..

It'd gross me out too. There's no way a father that has a normal relationship with his daughter, would purchase a thong/butt floss for her. I'm not stupid...the thong was for a Toon Twinkie.
To: homeschool mama
Like I said ... it was a pretty bad PR Spin
Hey at least they didn't say he bought it for Hilda ... can you just imagine her fat butt in a thong ... rofl

This is something to keep our eyes peeled on.
I wonder what the rush is to get married with a year and a half left at Oxford...perhaps Chelsea is carrying more than those schoolbooks around the globe these days

I don't mean to brag, but can I call 'em?

Much too much planning. I'm the Goddess of Water for the State of California now...in case you haven't heard...which requires a good amount of my time, doncha know? I can't be bothered with plans for a farce-wedding. LOL
To: homeschool mama
instead of vaseline, let's say they used whale oil and a couple of two by fours to get her through that year

You're wasting your breath with BoP. I've gone round and round with him before. It's the same old story. He defends chels at every opportunity. I don't know what his problem is.
There are plenty of stories coming out of the Stanford campus about chels' absenteeism and the resentment it caused among her classmates in general. He won't hear it though. I know people who knew her there, described her as unfriendly and intellectually pompous and yet she can do no wrong according to some people (she sounds a bit like her mother, now that I think of it).
She did her senior thesis on the Northern Ireland peace process, guess there was plenty of help from daddy's researchers on that. All she had to do was put it together.
There was also the report from another freeper who had heard of an incident in one of the local coffee houses, overheard 2 professors who were talking about chels' grades, and how daddy had blown his top and given a good talking to the prof who dared to give her a B, which was soon changed to an A.
And BoP, don't start in again with me, you're just too tedious for words. As long as we're paying the freight for these people, we have a right to criticize their actions all we want.
