Prayers are needed for Freeper Homeschool Mama and her daughter, who were in a car accident yesterday. Their van was rear-ended and completely totaled. HS Mama will need a bunch of chiropractic work, but her daughter seems to be ok.

Certainly..... Mrs. B was in a wreck a few years ago which totaled her much-loved RX-7.... driver ran a red light ( "It was green" ) and center-punched her car. Despite nothing broken or cut, it took months for her to even walk normally again. Think of being a pea in a tin can, in a hurricane....

Thanks for the ping. She must have suffered some serious neck and shoulder wrenching in such an accident. The daughter may find that she is pretty stiff tomorrow as less severe musculosketal injuries can be revealed by delayed symptoms but delayed onset often means quicker healing.

Our Lord, who gives us salvation freely for the asking, can also give healing, and we will all turn to Him in faith to help our dear homeschool mama and her family.

One more thing; About insurance companies.

Like most other businesses, some are excellent, while others are unethical.

I'm not a lawyer, but I urge her to discuss the event with a lawyer before discussing it with an insurance company.

As a retired police officer, I've seen countless insurance agents, with copies of contemporaneous notes taken at bedside, blow holes in insurance matters years down the road...

So good to read your update. Wow about your daughter being ok to run and you ok enough to go watch her! God's angels surely were there watching out for you both. Prayers for full healing continue - and for the insurance "mess" to be worked out smoothly. Welcome back and thank God you were in a VAN instead of a little Yugo or some other tiny car that all the liberalissimos want to force us to be driving!
