Yes. In the past we have had the chapters that are in the area where the winners live, present them with a plaque.

I don't think anyone will be able to get close to Rummy, but the LA chapter will be giving David Horowtiz his award and the Florida chapter will give Rush his award. The other winners will be sent their awards in the mail. The Fresno/Central Valley chapter can also present JohnRob with his award, if they would like.

Thanks for the pings. I'm surprised about Limbaugh given the divisions he creates around here.

Congratulations to all the winners!

WOW! DC Chapter took honors. I think we did indeed have a pretty solid year of FReeping.

Out of all the nominees I voted for, only two won.

And I just know that I accidentally voted for Pat Buchanan, so I want a do over.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE WINNERS!

Chapter of the Year, Freeper of the Year, Best New Chapter and Lifetime Achievement Awards were tough calls! I didn't like having to choose!

Thanks to the FRN Leadership Council for their efforts in presenting these awards.

I voted for Limbaugh to send a message to all his detractors here. JimRob did a good job telling the die-hard Limbaugh haters that their views do not match the vast majority of freepers OR conservatives. Next time, we should nominate Abe Lincoln for "Best Pre-Reagan President" award or something-- that would REALLY frost the guys who come here with the sole purpose to smear him (and post so much long-winded drivel that it looks like their view is prevalent)

;-)

These were not .Net awards, the Network coordinated the effort since, at the time, Jim and John did not have the voting ability available.

Voting was open to anyone who wanted to register to vote.

Thanks for the explanation. Must have been the "source" which confused me.

An most excellent way to get folks to register and help FreeRepublic out in the process!

LOL! Wish I were a Florida Freeper so I could be there to present El Rushbo with the award! I am still so amazed that he has been so successful with his hearing. Can't imagine radio without him!
