My God. I hope this doesn't become another New Zealand Hobbit Hole thread!

Maybe she can get John Kerry to move in:

Is there a picture with this article? I'd love to see the new house.
If you print the photo of the house, I'll post a radio interview with the owner.

"Maybe she can get John Kerry to move in:"
HA! That's hilarious!! I never realized that there was such a strong resemblance.
To: dead
Don't insult the Munsters by comparing them to Kerry.

This is from a Canadian radio program called Basic Black:
Sandra McKee is creating her very own house in Waxahachie, Texas, to look exactly like the mansion in the 60's TV show The Munsters.

It's good that Waxahachie has something like this to take pride in, after the cancellation of the supercollider.

This woman needs a life; she obviously has too much time (and money) on her hands. If you're going to build a home modeled on a 60s TV show, why choose "The Munsters." It was one of the lamest TV sitcoms of the era (and that says a lot), vastly inferior to "The Addams Family." Still, this is America, and you can waste your money on this sort of thing if you want to. I'm just thankful she doesn't live in my neighborhood....

1313 Mockingbird Lane? The house just doesn't look right without the Munster Koach parked out front:

And the "Koach" looks best with "Marilyn":

He may still lurk here every once in a while. But he will not post up his articles on Freerepublic anymore. There were just too many outpatient insults and small-minded people for him. He figured he was just wasting his time posting his columns on FR.

That radio interview is a
HOOT!
Thanks a million.

Complete with the coffin/phone booth? The trap door in the living room that leads down into the basement/laboratory? The indoor front stairs that swings open to reveal the Munster's family pet, spot (a fire breathing dragon?)
Why can't these people be normal and build an exact replica of the Brady Bunch house like I intend to do someday? :-)
