The Enron Chairman stayed at the Whitehouse eleven times.
Enron gave four hundred and twenty thousand dollars to the President's party...
The corporation donated a-hundred thousand dollars toward paying for the President's inauguration.
Enron had access to the Whitehouse at it's highest levels. Even assisted the Commerce Department and the State Department in making deals.

Lay apparently golfed with Clinton, and stayed at the White House during the George H.W. Bush administration.

Enron didn't come into being until 1991. so it couldn't have been HW Bush's white house.

Again, more non-news. Nothing to see here, as Clinton is NEVER going to go to jail, ro ever be painted in the colors he deserves. The liberal socialist media and the lack of backbone in our government won't allow that traitor to ever be smeared. We as a people have the best government money can buy pure and simple. Hopefully this administration we have currently has some benevolent owners.

This is why we are only hearing from the Democrats how they want even tougher standards than those proposed by Bush. But don't worry the Presidents "guilt" is a matter of Democratic FAITH by now and soon we will hear someone like Molly Ivens trashing Bush on it again. Right now they are all to busy with the nukes.

It was only a matter of time. The Clinton's shook down any organization that wasn't in chapter eleven. And I'm not convinced they didn't tap a few of them as well. LOL Harvey is helping with Clinton's deserved legacy. You've gotta love it!

Ahem...

"It was then that Representative Tom DeLay, Republican of Texas, told the group — a participant well schooled in the ways of partisan combat said — that he had seen the name of Kenneth L. Lay, the former chairman of Enron, in the guest book of his cabin. The entry, he said, dated from the Clinton administration."

(Julia Payne, Mr. Clinton's spokeswoman, said yesterday that she had no reason to dispute any visit of Mr. Lay to Camp David. But Ms. Payne said she had no access to the Clinton archives or Mr. Clinton, who was on a plane to Seattle. Mr. Clinton has said that he played golf with Mr. Lay.)

...I would nail the door shut to the Lincon Bedrrom until he was ready to leave the WH in 2009

Shows what you know. Lincoln left the WH in 1865.

Nope .... Clinton was DEEP inside supporting/propping up Enron's overseas deals for Indonesian (direct bribery to their Presiednt's family), India, Tawain, and China power deals and gas deals.

All preceeded, "of curse", within DAYS of each closure by BIG Enron contributions to the Clinton/DNC coffers.

The Enron Chairman stayed at the Whitehouse eleven times.

Does ANYONE have a reputable citation to this? I've been told that Lay never spent the night at the Clinton White House (at least not in the Lincoln Bedroom) even once. Of course, I suppose one can spend the night there without spending it in that specific room ...

Pointers PLEASE!

According to the NY Times it is true. They have never printed a correction. The Chicago Tribune and the Washington Times printed a correction only to say that sleeping over eleven times was incorrect. That could mean that he slept over twelve times, one time, or zero times. Sadly, Paul Harvey must have relied on the NY Times for his info. Maybe he will correct his story by letting everyone know that Clinton golfed with Enron's CEO but the CEo didn't sleep over eleven times. Here is a VERY pro Clinton source (sent to me from a liberal friend) for the info: http://www.salon.com/politics/col/spinsanity/2002/03/12/lay/index.html
