Horowitz at Amherst = David versus Goliath.
The result will be the same.

Don't forget that July 18 is Mary Jo Kopecne Day. New England Freepers within driving distance to the Chappaquiddick bridge should set that day aside to meet at the bridge with "Remember Mary Jo Kopecne" signs at cookouts, parties, and speeches. Such a demonstration would upset the local liberals,

Don't tell anyone, but we're trying to secure a live interview...

New England Freepers within driving distance to the Chappaquiddick bridge The driving is no problemo, it's the two ferries, each way. one of which requires about a two month advance reservation and costs about $100, round trip. The On-Time II or On-Time III (Egartown to Chappaquiddick) are first-come, first-served for a nominal fee. I'm allegeric to MV, especially since Clintoon spilled his seed there, so no chance of spending the week. BTW, Howie Carr rented the Chappiquiddick party house in 1999 on the week of July 18 for about $600 and broadcast his show live from there to "celebrate" the 30th anniversary. What a pissa!
MV isn't all that bad. Fat, out of shape, liberal Manhattanites huffing and puffing their ten speeds on ABSOLUTELY LEVEL sea shore roads make easy targets, hell they practically throw themselves under your tires. Unfortunately they don't make good vitals, stick to squirrels and racoons. Skunk if you're really hungry.

AARgh! I wish I could be there! But I'll let my son who's in school at UMass know about it. He's not into politics much, but maybe I can convince him to go listen to DH!

C-SPAN is going to be at Amherst to tape the speech & Q&A, so it would be great if the hall was absolutely full!

Had no idea that 7/18 was the anniversary date....if I recall correctly it is also the date that JFK, Jr.'s plane crashed.
The real bridge location is rather remote....may I suggest a picnic/FREEP in Hyannis to get more visibility?

I hope the leftists heckle him off the stage. Horowitz never really changed. He just traded his left-wing authoritarianism in for right-wing authoritarianism when he found the latter was more lucrative.
