The DNA test on a seminal stain on Monica Lewinsky's dress proved to be the stain on a presidency. The lies could no longer be serviced. For apologists for Bill Clinton who kowtow still in his narcissistic shadow, we offer a warning - read no further.

I believe that there is so much scandalous about this POC that nothing can ever gain traction. Facts no longer matter. Characterizations counts (LOL).

the Clinton administration indirectly contributed $24.2 billion for U.N. peacekeeping missions between 1995 and 2001. But it was off the books - the amount never was officially credited to the U.S. account.

Somehow, I'm not surprised...

Lest Americans ever forget why the clintons, and all their enablers need to be hectored, hounded, and harried into silence, until "clintonese is only spoken in Hell," look here:

In his final report on the Clinton-Lewinsky affair, Independent Counsel Robert W. Ray said he was confident that he had enough evidence to convict Mr. Clinton of perjury and obstruction of justice.

Those were the two major charges against Nixon.

My question is how big were the skeletons in both parties closets to enable the Senate to vote 100 to 0 not to hear any evidence against Clinton. Has any other political issue ever produced a 100 to 0 vote?

Look at the complicity. 100 hundred senators... every single one of them voted not to hear any evidence in a trial.

The house had to go along an make no more than a pro forma obection about not being able to present evidence.

The chief Justice of the supreme court had to go along.

If I had been chief justice, I would have ruled that though the Senators may not want to hear the evidence, THE CHIEF JUSTICE CERTAINLY DOES. I will hear the case and so will the AMERICAN people if the house will present it. The Senators can go hide in the Closet if they so desire while the case is being presented to the chief justice and the American people.

But he did not do that.

It is most certainly true. The fix was in. The fix had always been in.

How could that be? Trent "Foghorn Leghorn" Lott told Brit Hume and Tony Snow this morning that he did his job during the trial. You mean he LIED to Brit, Tony and the viewers? I'm shocked. Shocked I tell you! < /sarcasm>

"Cliff Kincaid of America's Survival Inc., a group dedicated to exposing ``the influence of global institutions" on the lives of the American people, made public the GAO's draft report. He says direct and indirect U.S. contributions to U.N. peacekeeping missions totaled more than $27 billion - a far cry from the United Nations' ``deadbeat'' characterization of the United States."

And the GAO is suing VP-Cheney just to find out about energy meetings? What a joke.

100 to 0 in the Senate not to hear evidence... Yes: just one more scandal for the Clinton era. My guess is: Filegate which has never been fully investigated or explained.

The impact of the Clinton Administration will take years to wash away: the politics of personal destruction, the undermining of our Justice system, etc. etc.

We probably should move on and take solace in the fact that the Clinton era will, as Charles Krauthammer has said, be regarded as another Warren G. Harding presidency: good times economically, popular president (especially among female voters), no substance in terms of policies, and thoroughly compromised by scandal.

Yes, indeed, those 900 FBI files sure did come in handy, didn't they? Hillary and Bill just knew they would need a little "insurance" somewhere along the way. They had something on EVERYONE!

You know the old expression "riding off into the sunset"?

What would be appropriate for X42? Perhaps "Leaving a slime-trail off into the sunset"?

I just finished reading "The Final Days" by Barbara Olsen and my blood is boiling. Bill and Hill are so dangerous it is unbelieveable. It is, frankly, a miracle that this country actually survived with Bill at the helm for eight years. Read the book, it will make you sick.

Facism (corrupt socialism)is thriving in the USA. Had AlGore "won" the election, our Republic would be in mortal danger. The next Democrat will resume the destruction of our Constitution. I am not convinced that GW can regain our Rule of Law thrown away during the Clintons' reign.

I always wondered why Rehnquist appeared to be so completely uninvolved in, and bored by, the impeachment proceedings. He let Harkin raise an empty fuss about something or other at one point, which he should never have permitted. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with Rehnquist (not to mention the Repub. Senators). What a mess.

He was too busy worrying about how many gold strips to add to his robes a la Gilbert & Sullivan.
