Yes, but the name has worn out it's welcme and that race is over, yet the same people continue to use it for the same reason; in an attempt to demean George Bush. I don't think that is your intention. I know you by your comments on FR. But I think it is only the RATS who use it, and we should let them keep it. IMO.

"Are you sure you're not just blinded by your allegiance to the carefully sculpted public persona of G.W. Bush?"

You want her in JAIL now? Or no punishment/probation, treatment? Do you really care? Drugs your bigtime agenda?

Are you sure you're not blinded by your hatred of BUSH, or is it your fascination with drugs -- Which is it?

This story bores me, I told you ....if you are thrilled by the story - ENJOY IT.

BREAKING NEWS....BREAKING NEWS ad nauseum.

I know that he can support his daughter, as he should, but cannot interfere for her. If he tries to, the Butcher of Waco will jump all over him and the press will scream hypocrisy.

Does this permit Jeb to provide her with a lawyer? How about a legal defense fund paid by donators like the previous administration used?

The only difference between licit and illicit psychotropic drugs is the route the money takes to get to the top.

There's a big difference between the cultures that promote their respective uses.

"Go over to your rat hole and use it all you want with the other 10 morons that post there."

I know one FReeper that has a theory that the DU is a site set up for the really nasty liberal politicians to post incognito what they REALLY think with Hillary at the top of the list. Could William Pitt = William Jefferson Clinton or Little Tommy or Al Gore. Could Hillary be the monitor of the abuse button, cackling with glee as she deletes suspected FReepers one after another. Interesting concept. And what better way to get non stories blown completely out of proportion?

Yup. My favorite part is how so many people in favor of the War on Drugs are all of a sudden saying that Xanax isn't that big a deal, and that maybe Noelle should get some therapy, but no way should SHE have to go to jail... Where are all the zero-tolerance folks now?

I apologize for my manners. And I don't normally do that, but I mistook you for one of the many disruptors that were infesting that thread.

Sorry. Truce?

I think of getting acquitted for a rape charge for Wm Kennedy Smith is a lot worse and to think he was able to get his medical license even.

When the Bush kid's names come up, people go out of their way to harass them. That restarant manager in Texas did something she'd never have done with any other kid. The ID would have been taken and destroyed, if that. The Bush girl would have been denied service, end of story. There are stories out there about Chelsea. The reason you don't know about them is they were never covered in the press.

Chelsea comed her hair different last week. It was top story for three days. Talk about a mega-barf alert. It's unconcionable what the press does in this nation.

As for the current mess, pharmacists will not give anyone a pass who's presenting a fraudulent script. That is as it should be. But who calls the press in on these? Some vengeful democrat, that's who. Otherwise the press wouldn't have even known about it.

Well here it is, State of the Union day and the Bush's are being taken down a notch. That's all this is about in my opinion. This is a non-event. It has nothing to do with Uncle accept to detract from his talking points.

When something happens with a child that could be embarrassing the RATs repress & use their power & influence to either postpone, squah or soften the story. The Gores asked the press not to report their son's speeding ticket during the DNC Convention; the Gore kids use of marijuana & alcohol was not BREAKING NEWS in the media; the Clintons announcing to the media that Chelsea is OFF LIMITS and that they ate NOT to invade her privacy.

IMHO The Bush Family has the correct approach, let the kids get caught & suffer the consequences. This is very tragic for Noelle but maybe it was her 'cry for help'. Zanax is extremely addictive & is used to treat chronic anxiety & panic attacks. It was given to me when I was suffering with the effects of Lyme Disease on the nervous system.

I had been warnd by my doctor to take the minimal does (I actually got by with much less) but I still suffered the extremely unpleasant withdrawal effects for weeks even though I gradually went off it under medial supervision.

None of us knows the whole story about why Noelle Bush did this...but she broke the law & getting caught & facing those consequences will benefit her in the long run.

Does it take 11 hours to process a misdemeanor sleeping pills prescription case?

And that is just if this is a 24 hour pharmacy (which it probably isn't) So someone has held this story for the better part of a day.

I can see your point but it really is kinda useless to guess what the charge is going to be until such time as a prosecutor files a complaint.

i agree, and actually i didn't have a point... i was wondering what constitutes "prescription fraud"
when buying xanax in florida. i finally found the statutes that defined it. it sounds
like actually changing the script itself... i.e. intentional misrepresentation or forgery.

maybe. i slept in a holiday inn last night? i play one on tv? need some html?

A bigger story is to realize how many people are using Xanax, including nurses who are burned out because of their jobs.

How familiar are you of criminal law? Do you think its possible that Walgreens just couldn't verify the script at one fifteen in the am and called the police? Although the article doesn't say my guess is she was OR'd.

Where are all the zero-tolerance folks now?

Making excuses and calling anyone who tries to point out their hipocracy in a serious policy debate a "disruptor"...
