A Word To My Free Republic Family On The NYC "Multi-racialist" Statue

Freepers, I want to talk to you all about the staute. I agree with you all that to depict the staute with mullti-racial characters is wrong and politically correct. I, however, have something to tell you all that you will not like.

So, I'm racist for wanting the memorial to reflect what really happened. What does that make those who want to change the statue? I mean, besides politically correct? How long until they go around changing the rest of history? They're doing a good job of blurring it now, as we speak. How long until they can just go around and rewrite it wholesale?

Wanting a memorial to reflect history accurately makes me a racist in the eyes of some? Then I stand damned as a racist, surrounded by the rest of the racists here on Free Republic. I can think of no better company to be condemned with.

Diversity is a code word with only one meaning. The United States must relegate the white race to minority status as soon as possible. Beyond that the white race should cease to have any nation where it can experince self-determination. Folks, if that isn't racist, then racism was, is and always shall have been nothing more than a fairy tale.

You have completely missed the point. A society and a nation can only survive by being homogenous. There must be a commonality of culture and values.

The multicultural b.s. is deliberately shattering our national identity into a thousand little pieces. As this nation loses cohesion, it loses its future.

The last time we became two peoples, we had the Civil War. When this happened more recently in the world, the term Balkanization was invevted - the destruction of one nation into many little dying shards.

By the time white folks aren't the dominant group this country will be full-blown socialist--if not fully blown-up. So who gives a crap what the "dominant" race is (whatever that means)...this country has seen its best days long ago. We're still existing off of the industrial revolution. Yes, Christianity belongs on the list of American foundational elements, but I'd hesitate to say the government should make sure it's something all new citizens adhere to. America needs to be re-evangelized, and that's a job for the churches and every individual Christian here, not the government.

In fact this doesn't have to be racial at all. It's not about race it's about the truth. If I recall correctly not all of those who erected the flag were firemen.

Were there any women? Does the new statue include women? If so why not? How about children? Are there any Jews or Muslims in the Statue? Christians? Where does such madness stop?
