Here's one from Karen who's from upstate, New York. Big territory. "Bill, I almost always agree with you, but you are really wrong on this one. The pilot did exactly the right thing. And anyone who believes a government ID cannot be forged is living in a fantasy."

Oh, dear, I see you don't know the time honored internet rule about calling peole Nazis.
Miss Marple will be here shortly to quote it for your chapter and verse; I never can remember it.
A) There is an 'industry' in this country catering to 'victims'
B) Certain lawyer types have cleverly had certain things codified into law; as a result, they walk into a courtroom with the burden of guilt shifted from the 'prosecutors (them) to the 'defendant' (read, those under assault by these types)
C) Certain lawyer types and their political allies walk out of said courtroom with money literally spilling out of their pockets
D) Repeat as often as greed allows (which is usually limitless)
Does that help?
I wouldn't be surprised if the ss agent wasn't a CAIR plant and the whole episode with American Airlines was a set up.
Oh, I'm sorry. You played the Nazi card, and hence you lose. But do take these wonderful consolation prizes as our parting gifts.
None of the above, I despise these organizations, although people like you give them a run for their money.
scared and ignorant
(laughing more)
Well, bin Laden gave them their marching orders "attack their economy" and one of the ways of doing that is through massive lawsuits. Looks like it's started. Start the lawsuits, demand financial settlements, bleed an already ailing industry dry.
We can talk about this one if you want, I'm game.
It appears you do a lot of dealing with CAIR as well.
For example? Much of what Ive said has come from published reports, the American Airlines website and what was said in the Lawyers news conference yesterday.
Yup! It's just a novel. It does seem to me that someone else (on the other side of the world) is trying to use it as a playbook. I really hope I'm wrong here...

"The Pilot in Command(1) Has final authority and responsibility for the operation and safety of the flight."
I would take the word of an airline captain over an affirmitive action government bureaucrat any day.
