I got four inches of snow at my cabin in Colorado yesterday ... but that's not really news. I just swept it off the deck with a broom (it's that powdery) and went to work.

It's been snowing here in NE Atlanta since about 10 am. Maybe 2-3 inches accumulation. None accumulating on the roads. Grocery stores are jam packed.
Expect many losers to call out of work tomorrow.

Very light snow in the Gastonia area .... emphasis on "very." So far it's been what I grew up calling "hominy snow" ..... almost like little pellets instead of flakes ..... but it's not sleet.
I think there's a little more in central Charlotte and especially in SC.

So far here in Virginia Beach, it's just really cold. My home page says we're going to get a FOOT but so far, nothing.

You guys are lucky. I wish it would snow here in Chicago. We've gotten two snowfalls all winter and they only up to about an inch. It's hell to drive in but during the storm it gets so eerily peaceful.

A few isolated, fluffy, lonely flakes fell here in Texas. They swirled around a bit then disappeared. Its clearing off now though - temps forecast for the teens tonight, but no more precip expected.
I miss snow.

Raleigh, NC (compliments of a coworker just back from smoke break): reports of sleet.

East TN reporting... no snow here. But then I would not expect any after I went out and got milk, eggs, orange juice, bread and TP. :)

Goose Creek, SC here. It's cold. It was snowing earlier this morning, but it's 6 pm-ish now and the snow has turned to rain. It's supposed to get colder, the rain is supposed to freeze and then it's supposed to snow on top of that. It will make driving to work fun.

Location approximately 25 miles south of Columbia, SC. Started snowing around 10:30 a.m. Changed to sleet and freezing rain around 5:00 p.m. Has been steady coming down all day and is still coming. The ground and roads around our house are well covered. I haven't measured the depth.

Nothing yet in Chapel Hill (6:00 pm) but the parking lot at the nearest grocery store is full! (Not to worry: I have plenty of cat food, coffee, milk, and I've got a loaf of bread working in the bread machine.
