I got four inches of snow at my cabin in Colorado yesterday ... but that's not really news. I just swept it off the deck with a broom (it's that powdery) and went to work.

It's been snowing here in NE Atlanta since about 10 am. Maybe 2-3 inches accumulation. None accumulating on the roads. Grocery stores are jam packed.
Expect many losers to call out of work tomorrow.

Please don't be ill with us because we get excited! :-)Heck, you guys get a whittle snowstorm and you act like you're getting carpet-bombed by B-52s. But enjoy your snow, I'll be thinking of you come July when I might have to run the fan at my cabin once or twice during the entire summer...

Expect delays due to the lack of ice-melting equipment.

Very light snow in the Gastonia area .... emphasis on "very." So far it's been what I grew up calling "hominy snow" ..... almost like little pellets instead of flakes ..... but it's not sleet.
I think there's a little more in central Charlotte and especially in SC.

So far here in Virginia Beach, it's just really cold. My home page says we're going to get a FOOT but so far, nothing.

Snow started falling here in Goose Creek, SC at 8AM, but it's not really stickin'. It morphed into sleet. I'm fretting because I put the Rooster and the big chick on a bus to West Virginia to ski this morning.
I just got back from a nature walk with the little chick. Did you know you can peel the ice off a magnolia leaf and have a perfect ice leaf? They're in my freezer now!
Yes, snow makes us a little giddy. Nothing will ever compare to the white Christmas we had in '89. I think God was trying to apologize for Hugo.

Ballentine, South Carolina signing in. My son was taking a few pics with his webcam--here's a link.
Rhett's Snow Pics. We're expecting 4-8 inches overnight.

You guys are lucky. I wish it would snow here in Chicago. We've gotten two snowfalls all winter and they only up to about an inch. It's hell to drive in but during the storm it gets so eerily peaceful.

A few isolated, fluffy, lonely flakes fell here in Texas. They swirled around a bit then disappeared. Its clearing off now though - temps forecast for the teens tonight, but no more precip expected.
I miss snow.
