Central Gossip Agency [Johnnie Walker's father is homosexual]

NOT THAT IT MATTERS a whit to us here in the cool, gray city of love what Frank Lindh, daddy of the Taliban warrior from Marin, does, did or dreams of doing with other consenting adults, but shouldn't he come clean with us about all the facts in the odd odyssey of his son?

Frank Lindh has been quoted time and again as saying it was his son John's reading of the "Autobiography of Malcolm X" when John was 16 in 1997 that turned his son's head and heart towards Islam. But something else then going on in the family's life may be have been just as pertinent.

When Frank Lindh left his family in 1997, it was to move in with a male companion. Yep. ... The man with whom Lindh lived has since been described as "a family friend," but other family friends say the men lived as a gay couple.

It would take a specialist in family issues to map the constellations of feelings and problems that would describe John Walker's path toward Islam in 1997, but sources close to the family say the father's turn of life from married man to modern gay man startled and flustered the 16-year-old.

Given the pummeling that the Walkers and marvy Marin County have taken from the national press over their wayward son, you can't blame the old man for wanting to suppress reporting on his sexuality. ...

Oh, I know. Hey, I live in San Francisco and my girlfriend (who sometimes posts here) has quite a few good pals that are homosexual. None of them fit the mary-boy stereotype -- well, 'cept maybe 'Steve' -- and they visit our place pretty often. Even helped redecorate, too.

The thing is that although gays demand to be accepted as normal folks BY normal folks, just as we all do, no-one can be taken seriously if they say that Abdul 'American Al-Queda' Hamid couldn't possibly be any more letdown by his father ditching his mother and running off with another man any more than if his father would have run off with another woman.

I don't believe it, you don't believe it, and only someone trying to score points with the great PC god in multicultural heaven would act solemnly non-judgemental about Ratboy's father's lifestyle choices --- yet, even deep down they don't believe it.

It's not only that he ran off with another man, I heard on Michael Savage's radio show yesterday that the guy ratboy's 'father' ran off with owned a string of gay bath-houses. I still remain a 'Big-L' Libertarian, but even I have drawn a line in the sand. Everyone has *somewhere*.

The more I hear about this case, the sicker I get. I thought it was bad enough that ratboy was even *there* on the ground with the Taliban, but it just got worse:

- Ratboy's parents let him drop out of school and turn into the Ayatollah Khomenei.
- Ratboy's mom and dad were still proud of him and 'couldn't wait for him to get home so they could hug him and kick him in the rear a little'.
- Ratboy's dad is a Justice Department attorney. (OH GOD, why am I not surprised?!)
- Ratboy wasn't just Taliban, he was Al-Queda -- learning poisoncraft, etc. He would certainly have been in the next terror wave.
- Ratboy's dad is homo-erectus and ran off with a bathhouse owner.

What's next on the Ratboy barf list?

I think we should arrange a reunion of Ratboy and his family; Clear the premises and drop the Daisy-Cutter.

It'd be merciful for them and the rest of America.

And Powell and Cheney have Lesbian daughters. So what.

So What? I'll tell you what. The little moron is fighting WITH the enemy, remember, the ones who murdered 3,000 innocent Americans in cold blood?

The Homosexual Agenda doesn't want you to bring up things like this, because you might use your brain and put two and two together and conclude that Dad moving in with his male lover screws kids up, and then those screwed up kids go to war against US.

But So What?

Having your Dad leave your Mom for anyone, of either sex, for any reason, can do harm to children. Divorce is traumatic. Tell me you believe that.

Second, it definitely should give us all some insight into the young Walker's mind, and why he chose to pursue a life radically different than that of his parents.

If Walker's father pulled a Wenner (Jan Wenner, publisher of Rolling Stone and the father of a 10 year old boy at the time, left his wife to come out as a gay man), it has relevance to the case. Heterosexual sons of gay men go through hell, an identity crisis that makes typical teenage angst pale in comparison. They very often channel their anger into extreme behaviors, for example Taliban-like ascetism/militarism, as any therapist will attest.

It may not legitimately serve to mitigate his guilt for traitorous acts committed, nor should it spare him a stiff prison sentence, but it goes a long way to explaining who John Walker is, and it tells us far more about him than we can learn from reading The Autobiography of Malcolm X.

beckett you are correct. I had no idea about Jann Wenner, I knew he did the same thing, but I had no idea he had kids!!!! OMG!!! Don't these guys CARE about their children that they leave behind???? Jeez, even Anne Heche's father was gay as well, and she is totally whacked in the head because of it!

Jann

I had the uncomfortable feeling that I was spelling his name wrong, but I couldn't quite figure out why, and I was too lazy to look it up. :-)

So many parents do so many crazy things and still the kids survive. There is no cause and effect straight line (fortunately.) With so many ways for Walker to be messed up it's hard to imagine this particular result as having any direct relevance. Although, now I come to think of it, the Taliban were militantly anti-homosexual. Maybe there is a connection. He certinly went in search of Certainty in his life. Hate to play armchair psychologist but that could be a factor. Walker , perhaps, sought certainty and absolute truth. He would have found that with the Taliban. He could also have found it closer to home, but chose not to.

I can think of nothing that would have destroyed and horrified me more than my parents divorcing and the reason being one of them becoming a homosexual before doing it. The boy probably got to see his mom's reaction to being dumped for another MAN too, which I am sure wasn't a very pretty sight. This young man is the product of the worst liberals can put out - no foundation, no religion, no gender identity with the fencehopping, divorce, too much money and a moral compass that was evidently completely broken. His dad should have been with the SON, taking him to ballgames, swimming, father-son bonding, dad should have been the healing force in his own family but no he's busy finding himself sexually late in life and let his kid go adrift smugly thinking throwing cash at the boy was the liberal cure-all. It wasn't. The son went after that which he never received from his parents - he was looking for something STABLE in his life and with no adult guidance (because there WAS NONE) he woefully went far off course and ended up as a religious fanatic. This is what happens when liberals breed and it ain't pretty because they seem to think that is where their job ends.

You bet I do. My parents got divorced when I was about the same age as John Walker was when his divorced.

... and I believe that it can get lots worse from there, depending on the circumstances. Walker had it a lot worse than I did, I must say.

The kicker of a story is that the man who was speaking for the father before the lawyer got into the scene was a gay man who owned bath houses (You remember them? They were shutdown when the AIDS started up with gay people.) in cali. His name was Bill Jones bathhouse king of cali.

Your depiction of Walker's boyhood sounds - in most details - like a pretty typical childhood for millions of Americans. By your logic the Taliban should have been swarming with young American recruits. As to the prescription for healthy childhood - well... healthy children are raised in many ways. Love and the respect of parents for who the child is is generally considered central. The actual activities - opera-going or deer hunting, or both - are not so important as that essential love, support and respect for the growing individual.

Nope, Sorry it don't fly here. Most children do NOT watch dad dump mom for another man like Johnny Walker did as a child - and no, that is NOT normal, no matter how desperately you wish it were. Wierd....

The normality I was referring to concerned dislocation, disruption, disappointment and divorce not the specifics of Walker's particular and rather humdrum variety of experience. I find no excuses for his ignorance and narrow views. Walker does seem to be a mixed up politically and religiously. But - he is no victim in my book and this defence lawyer angle doesn't fly with me.

Then we obviously agree - Walker has zero excuses for his behavior no matter how abnormal his upbringing may have been - he's an adult making those decisions now. He knew the consequences.

........"Whatever they may or may not have hoped for in the afterlife the Taliban - and Islamists in general - are miltantly anti-homosexual"........

Yet they have a preference for young males. Also, they like trheir women young, preferably younger than 18. I suppose they like their orifices "clean", "uncorrupted", at least until they have the opportunity to corrupt.

Lastly, seems it wherever there is a mistreatment of women, brutality follows. The Mideast is a testimony to the evil of misogny and Islam's veiled contempt for the female gender..

It is certainly true that an excellent measure of freedom in a country is the measure of equality afforded women. Interestingly enough it is also a measure of prosperity. Countries that have the higherst levels of freedom for women also have the highest levels of economic prosperity and progress. This holds true for third world countries that have embraced women's rights as part of their agenda. Where girls are educated people thrive.

What is important here is that women are a natural cultural balance to male procivities to violence and other vices.

Islam is so behind the 8 ball of cultural evolution, that from a macrocosmic point of view I see no real remedy at hand except to realise that the huddled masses in the Mideast will be at our doorstep, like paupers begging at the iron gates of a gated community.
