I don't want this to be miscontrued as racist, but white people are getting the shaft, in every single sense of the word. And blacks and other minorities are not going to be the better for it, it's just going to breed resentment, and it's going to spell trouble for the future of our country.

After we heard that we lost the deal because we were white, one of the guys who works with me, who's been my friend for a very long time and who I've never known to be racist said "those gosh darn Hispanic-Americans, what the heck are they doing in this country" (except he didn't use those exact words, I'll allow you to fill them in). Sentiments like those my friend uttered are misguded and wrong, but with cases like these, they are inevitable.

They had a guy from some Hispanic group on the O'Reilly Factor tonight. Not only does his group want Issel fired, but they want the Nuggets orginization to hire more Hispanics and do more work with Hispanic media.

As I watched this, I turned to my wife, and said this guy sounds like Jesse Jackson.

Solution? Make your wives the owners of the business. Female owned businesses are another category of "historically underutilized businesses", so you can - perhaps - work the system.

That's exactly what politicians and bureaucrats want. I repeat: that is exactly what politicians and bureaucrats want. 

They contrive a boogieman (name almost any political issue) and send out a message of either fear or moral indignation.  They scare otherwise meek people with a boogieman. ...Whip up a frenzy of fear or moral indignation (sometimes both) in the meek. ...Then propose a new law or regulation to protect the meek from the boogieman.

Outrageous!! It is an American tragedy that a firm cannot hire whom it wishes without having to justify the reasons for its choice, or for a firm to be denied a contract by another firm because its owners and employees don't fit the PC criteria. How did we let this nightmare occur?

There are qualified and talented people of all races who vie for jobs and contracts. An employer should be unfettered in selecting the contender who can best address the needs and wishes of his firm without being subjected to blackmail, intimidation and unjust laws,

"Political correctness" is a filthy scheme designed to control the American people. I'm tired of being muzzled, seeing others intimidated for their thoughts, words, deeds, preferences, etc. Patriots must resist PC before it destroys this nation.

Sorry that your wife won't be getting that expensive Christmas gift this year. Hopefully you'll soon land a nice contract with a firm that is unintimidated by PC, so she can get that fine gift next year.

I don't have a racist bone in my body but I gotta tell you that garbage like this makes me want to see these people taught a little respect. These people, such as Jesse Jackson, have done for blacks what the likes of the lesbian , Patricia Ireland have done for women! And the only good that has come of it is the realization that this is NOT the way to go!!

Here is another story for you Michael. My neighbor from India, an IT guy was asked to take a leave of absence because he made sexual overtures to a co-worker. He supposedly said, "Mary, that's a pretty dress." She went to the VP, made all sorts of noise. The poor guy was asked to leave work without pay. But, here's the kicker...they were both up for promotion...only one would get it...any guess who got the promotion. And, then after the promotion, Mary called him into the office to clear the air, and let by-gones be by-gones. He's a young guy, and will learn and recover, as I hope you are able to too.
