Johnny Bin Walker, At Least, Put His Money Where His Mouth Is

Reading all these articles and hearing all these pundits talk about Johnny Bin Walker as being treasonous and being the lowest thing on earth has made me wonder.
First, how can it be treason when he is no longer a citizen. Second, although I think the guy should be killed, he gets more respect from me for having the guts to go over their and live up to his anti-American sentiments, than do these cowardly America haters over here that still enjoy the benefits of being an American citizen.
How many times have we told these creeps that if they were serious they would go over and take up arms with the Taliban. Well, that is exactly what Johnny did.
I saw a recent thread comparing Johnny to Benedict Arnold. I don't see a similarity. Benidict was just looking out for his own @$$ and did so in a deceitful way. Johnny came right out and went to Afghanistan and openly fought with the side he felt was right.
You got guts Johnny, and you did stand up for your beliefs, so I respect ya. But then, I would be glad to be the one to put the bullet into your head, because you are on the wrong side.

I guess we don't know that yet, do we. Let's see how it plays out.

Since he claimed American citizenship even though he "lost" his passport, the treason stands.

Amen - I think Liberal Socialists are cowards because they don't have the courage to go to Canada or England where they would fit in better. Rather, they choose to stay here with the hope of making America "a better place" for my children.

I was listening to Rush go through the Newsweek story today and had the exact same thought you outlined above. The guy should be treated as an enemy but I felt kind of proud in a weird sort of way when they describe how he acted during the CIA interview. No whining baby, there!

And you must be Mr. Walker, Johnny's dad. Welcome to FR. If it was a requirement to enlist to be a patriot, then I suspect many that are not in the military would have to be. Hey, isn't that what the USSR did? Required to serve the military to show allegiance?
Texaggie79, I can read from your comments on FR you are a patriot and citizen of the USA. You called it right; this guy gets kudos for getting out of America, but the death penalty for attacking it. My guess is he pulled the trigger on the CIA agent.
Carbon, do you hope to buy Mr. Walker an Xmas card? Better hurry while he still has a chance to read it. CHeers.

Just like the suicide bombers! Only he didn't quite make the Darwin award list.

Is there any chance whatsoever that this guy was an American plant/infiltrator from day one?

What have you done to earn your right to wag your finger at those with whom you don't agree, and know nothing about? We know plenty about Johnny Walker. We also know plenty about the anti-American types (like Justine Raimondo) who jump up and down about U.S. action against terrorists.
And we've all earned the right to express our views.
Let Johnnie-boy loose, I say. He's a marked man, and will be looking over his shoulder the rest of his short life.

Johnny came right out and went to Afghanistan and openly fought with the side he felt was right. Not quite accurate. He went to that area before 9-ll, just to assimilate islam. It appears as though he then kind of drifted into the Taliban, again before 9-11. He is young, misguided, weird and not worth all the attention he is getting.

This is kind of like admiring a murderer more than someone who hates people but refrains from killing them. Call it hypocrisy, if you like, but not killing people and not taking up arms against your own country are good things. Sometimes hypocrisy and cowardice prevent people from committing crimes, and frankly that's all to the good.

LOL.
Well, what's your stance on this post? Would you not agree that at least the guy did a "put up" and not a "shut up"
Should he stand trial or should he not, or should he (my fav) be executed?
The CIA agent was interviewing him when the Taliban came into the interrogation room and that's when he died. He IS Taliban.
Thoughts?

My guess is he pulled the trigger on the CIA agent. Your guess is wrong. It is hard to pull the trigger when your arms are tied behind your back. News reports indicate someone else did it anyway. You are giving this clown more credit than he deserves.
