Just did a study of Israeli-Palestinian conflict
Rant

Forgive me if I have things wrong and please correct me if my personal research has led me astray. Let me also preface this post by stating that Palestinian lunatics like Hamas need to be destroyed.
With that said, my research has led me to belive that the palestinians have been screwed throughout history. Israel, by force has seized so much land and then infringed even further into palestinian land. They ignored the U.N. recommondations and siezed vast amounts of land from Palestine. Israelis were the minority and by force , displaced weaker, huge masses of Palestinians. I have spent most of my life hating the PLO and blaming them for the huge Middle-east problem. now I beleive the Iraels are also to blame. I never really understood the issue and decided to find out. I strongly believe there needs to be distinct boundries that must be respected by both sides. I was surprised to see how many Israeli settlements were in Palestinian areas. I guess I figured out there is two sides to every story. Come on fellow freepers, educate me and tell me your beliefs.

You are a silly person. Actually looking into the history of the Israelis and the Palestinians, and then, having the audacity to posit that there just might be two sides to the story are grounds for summary execution on this sight. Veronica, I couldn't help but notice that you didn't correct this fellow's spelling also. Why is that?Because it had not been posted yet when I stopped by the thread, Einstein.

Well, the Greek historian Herodotus in 450 BC thought there was such a thing as Palestine and Palestinians. Can't you keep up?
(So did Chaucer, Shakespeare and Ben Franklin)
You might know that if you had bothered to do as this author has and STUDY the conflict.

That's called a colloquialism. (-:

Read about your Israeli found fathers. Don't you think their memoirs are a credible source?

I'll give you a good hint as to learning even more about the Middle East. Whatever Patria One says, the opposite is usually true. LOL....

PLEASE reserve judgement until you read Joan Peterson's "From Time Immemorial". She's a journalist who went to get the facts on how the Isrealis had subjegated the Palestinians.
Boy did she do an about face! What she found (and documents in painstaking detail) is the most profound public relations scam in history. Arafat is behind the entire pack of lies. I would love to hear your comments after you read it. Keep in touch?

It well may be that you gave it an honest try but ended up with not-so-respectable sources.
In any case, if you want to engage someone, you have to state questions: you have merely entered the room and announced the topic.

There are almost 3 million people in the Occupied Territories calling themselves Palestinians. If they aren't Palestinians then does that mean that they are Israelis? Whatever they call themselves they also call the West Bank home. That seems to be a big part of the problem.

Excellent source.. Well done.

such a thing as Palestine and Palestinians Here we are again. I asked you on another thread and you ran away. I'll ask again.
What's a Palestinian?
Am I one? My greatgrandfather (and further back) was born a Palestinian. My grandfather was born one. My father was born one. Am I a Palestinian?

Dispute the facts veronica..

Read about your Israeli found fathers. Don't you think their memoirs are a credible source?Found fathers? What do you mean found? I'm not adopted or born out of wedlock. I didn't have to find my father.
If you are referring to Marxists like Ben-Gurion or the 19th-century secularists like Herzl and Nordau, I've read much more about them than you have.

Yeah but you forgot to add that Patria will always have links backing up everything she says in spades, but forgets to mention that they are all Muslim Propaganda sites.

(So did Chaucer, Shakespeare and Ben Franklin) What did Ben Franklin say, Patria?
