LOL! Now Dukakis won't go down in history as the shortest governor of MA (or any other state).

The Republicans are a joke in Massachusetts. Our current RINO is a bumbling discredited disgrace.

The next governor will be a Democrat. I think Reich would be successful in attaining that office if he really wants it. He is deeply loved by the Massachusetts liberal establishment.

Massachusetts has its charms, but politically it SUCKS to be here. Thank God for FR.

AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah-sh$%!

haven't we Republicans have enough to deal with? We have

1) a liberal Republican Governor who can't sneeze unless she had a poll first
2)a House and Senate overrun with Lib Democrats who have succeeded in stopping
every sensible measure put forth by the Republicans
3) a Court system which makes the Florida Justices seem Moderate
4) a Republican Party which hasn't the testicular fortitude to do anything more than
knuckle under rather than look "extreme"
5) Kennedys
6) Kerry
7) Those damned congressmen
8) A $22 BILLION budget put forth by the Gov!!
And the House/Senate say that's not enough!!

I gotta move out of this state...

RIDDLE ME THIS RIDDLE ME THAT:

A man lives in a penthouse on the 35th floor. Every morning he gets in the elevator, exits on the first floor and goes to work.

The man returns from work, takes the elevator up to the 12th floor, exits there, and climbs the stairs the rest of the way to his penthouse on the 35th floor.

Why does he exit on the 12th floor?

I don't know. Somehow, Massachussets seems like the most liberal state ever and Reich might not be liberal enough for those goons!

You know what? This wouldn't bug me. Being Mass, we are going to get a liberal anyway. Reich at least had some sembelance of integrity. If I have to choose between a liberal and that rarest of breeds (the honest liberal) I prefer the latter.

On a serious note, at least Reich is an honest liberal. Misguided yes, but well intentioned, and willing to admit up front that he's a liberal, unlike most of his Dem confreres.

testing the waters

Seems to me that the Massachusetts waters were already tested by fat Teddy Kennedy.

They weren't friendly!

Being Governor is a TALL order. Reich will never stand HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE the other candidates. I SHRINK from the thought that he can win or that he will DWARF his opposition.

"Robert Reich is "testing the waters..."

Let's hope he doesn't test them too deep. He'll be a goner!

Number 1,he is NOT a "liberal". He is a "LEFTIST"! Number 2,Karl Marx isn't too far left for Mass.
