Thank you. :)

I love his paintings especially The Course of Empire and The Voyage of Life. I like his strong symbolism to express his view of nature.
The Course of Empire: The Arcadian or Pastoral State
This is another one I like:
Roman Campagna

Beautiful Hudson River School Stuff...
'Tis good to know I'm not the only one who appreciates it, much less, remembers/ is familiar with it.

Glad you like it, Joe. I have another one for you.
The Course of Empire: The Consummation of Empire

Thank you Joe. As usual, when something touches my heart, I cry. If only we had the faith of that small child. To those of us who believe, I think that it was apparent early on who that man was.

Will we wait another 11 months before the Spirit again embraces us?
To: dixie sass
I won't. Except in unusual circumstances, I believe in doing unto others as I would want them to do unto me, remember the 11th and greatest commandment which I kind of paraphrased.

Thank you very much. "Uphill" I love Christina Rossetti. I love poems in general, My favorite poem is Christina Rossetti's "The Lowest Place":
Give me the lowest place: not that I dare
Ask for the lowest place, but Thou hast died
That I might live and share
Thy glory by Thy side.
Give me the lowest place: or if for me
That lowest place too high, make one more low
Where I may sit and see
My God and love Thee so.

Wow, time sure flies. It seems like yesterday.
Here is another one
REMEMBER
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
