Not long ago, my boss's boss joined a decent-sized crowd of people who deem me eccentric. I'd like to know why other FReepers are considered idiosyncratic (if you don't mind sharing).

If you think and live outside the box, you can be eccentric. If you have gobs of hobbies that you throw yourself into, you may be eccentric. I think I am way more interesting than the average guy on the street. If enjoying my life and encouraging others to live a little is eccentric, I gladly take the title.

If however, you lack the common sense that I also possess, you'd be a democrat and eccentric quickly becomes kooky and at the end of the day, "they're coming to take you away" and making you grow a gorebeard.

Glad to see another FReeper who doesn't wear shoes inside the house that have been "on the street"! I have house-shoes sitting by front and back door.

Also wash my little dog's feet (and underneath) when I bring her back in from a walk. She doesn't seem to mind, and after all, she does "live" on the furniture!

Ya ... more of a compulsion than eccentric. My friends think I'm wierd, but they like me anyway (so they say!). I won't use silverware in a restaurant that isn't either wrapped in a napkin or lying on a disposable place mat. That usually brings a chuckle or rolling eyes!
