Not long ago, my boss's boss joined a decent-sized crowd of people who deem me eccentric. I'd like to know why other FReepers are considered idiosyncratic (if you don't mind sharing).

Isn't being called eccentric a compliment?

Rintense posts a Daily Dose of President Bush every day. Try to explain that to someone in a typical workplace.
I, on the other hand, am completely normal. Except that I get out of bed before the crack of dawn as much as possible to spend two hours on in-line skates shooting hockey pucks at an outdoor rink near my home.
LOL!

Are you eccentric? No, we're schizophrenic.
Speak for yourself.
Oh, here we go again. Nag, nag, nag.

Compared to Howard Hughes, I am completely normal. :)

I dunno what happened........I voted against Feinstein, Boxer,Davis......we used to be a free country......kids really used to be like Father Knows Best.......crime was manageable.....men used to stay with their wife and children......now you can crush the heads of babies, but you can't light a cigarette in your backyard

I also post a photo on my profile page of a hockey player named Clymer getting the crap beat out of him. That just about does it, I guess.
To: Xenalyte
I'm dead-set nuts. Does that help?
To: Xenalyte
Yes, I'm odd. I am not impressed with material things. I hate new clothes, I avoid large gatherings but somehow I seem to have a lot of friends. But my BEST friends have hair & 4 legs. I have been married to the same man for 44 years (thats really strange). I paint pictures of other peoples dogs & cats & refuse to take any money for it (its a labor of love). I spend alot of time at a place called Freerepublic. I am VERY happy with my life.

No, but I never met an "ek-centerick" I didn't like.

This reminds me:

suicide right on stage,
would it be enough for your teenage lust,
would it help to ease the pain? Ease your brain?"

I'm almost afraid to weigh in, on this one.

Warrior Princess, just thinking about this from a phonetic pronounciation standpoint, is an eccentric actually a former centric???
Do you have to be a centric prior to becoming an eccentric?
WOW, the question you posed on this thread is a tough one......at least there's no math involved.:-)
