To the consternation of many, I frequently forget to remove my tinfoil hat when leaving home.

My old truck seems to embarass some in my family who wish I would spring for something newer. I won't.

Um... I spend a lot of my time posting to various on-line discussion forums.... And that's 98% of my social life.

I'm trying to get a novel published. (I don't consider that eccentric, but apparently some do.)

I haven't figured this one out though... I was a complete social outcast in H.S. I'm basically the same person, but my teenaged daughter and her group consider me one of the cool parents.... OK, so I raised no objection when she wanted to die her hair blue for Halloween and have none with regard to her wanting to keep in that way... I drink Code Red.... But I still try to make sure she studies....

My biggest problem is with politicians, they seem to hate direct questions especially when you insist on straight answers. I have noticed that they seem to cringe when I come to Q&A type meetings. One school board member will not speak to me because I pointed out she lied on her resume. My state rep (Texas-26; R) is upset because I asked why he is running for a 5th term when he swore he would only serve 4. Congressman DeLay won’t sit by me at Rotary because I want to talk term limits.

Just love being ODD, though my children hate it.
