That when someone dies because they couldn't get a drug the government won't approve, it's tragic, but when someone dies because they couldn't defend themselves with a gun the government won't approve, that's just life. What's your favorite?

Wow! Thanks for a great post. Sometimes I think America becomes less logical each year. But, that's blaming the VICTIM, so it must be just MY twisted principles and values making me think about things like that. :-)

That Hitler and Stalin didn't disarm citizens, only Jews, Gypsies, gays, unionists and other "undesirables." (Yes, a liberal member of the MMM actually said this in the Washington Post.) That to properly understand Nazi gun control, one must consider the "legitimate fears" they had of the Jewish population. (This was another self-proclaimed liberal. I'm beginning to wonder.)
I said it again and again, liberals are more Nazi and facist than anything else.

I believe that the gun control advocates don't believe any of the above. I believe that they know perfectly well that gun control is a failure and a fraud, but won't admit it publically lest they want their money spigot to run dry.

It's a business they are in, and the bottom line is money, power, and influence. Where else could the Bradys get a high-paying, cushy job, media adoration, and perks?

Good Stuff!
I have recently become involved in a petition and I have been gathering signatures to petition John Ashcroft to nationally enforce the 2nd Amendment with Constitution burner states like California. Go to this internet site and look at the petition:
http://AshcroftPetition@KeepAndBearArms.com
Here's is your chance to do something besides complain about our system. Download this, print it out, and get anyone over 18, who is a U.S.A. citizen, to sign and mail it off to the listed address. Exercise your 1st Amendment rights to support the 2nd Amendment.

Excellent!
It may appear farcical to some but I find it is on the money. The fools who support the gun control agenda because of their good intentions are fools nonetheless. Observations such as you have outlined exposes their true agenda.
I believe the vast majority of people go to great lengths to avoid the appearance of being ignorant or uninformed. However, those who support gun control agendas go out of their way to display their ignorance.
People who say that a person was killed by a gun will also say that a person was killed by a drunk driver. However, these same people would not allow themselves to appear so stupid as to suggest that a word was misspelled by a pencil.
I would add a conundrum of my own. What agenda subscribes to the logic that because the people cannot be trusted we need to write laws and the people will abide by these laws because the people can be trusted?

Thanks for posting.

Excellent post! Thanks.
Unfortunately, this all makes far too much sense to sway the die hard grabbers. Facts and logic mean nothing to them.

That we should deal with the problem of criminals using illegal weapons by taking lawful weapons away from honest people. Somehow this logic escapes me. Only a liberal can understand that.

Jumpin' gerbils Batman! That has to be one of the best one-breath rants I've ever read.
And they said cynicism was dead.
