It is passing strange how the enemies of the terrorists are for the most part liberals,,they hate the liberal over sexed culture, the wild women we have, etc. And yet the biggest threat to them are the conservatives. Hillary would be the type who would hire blind, minority, single moms, with exczema, and paper cuts to open all her mail.(Good PR, providing jobs and such)

Then she would hire starving children from Harlem to lick each letter before getting a morsel of food. She would have them watched for several days in order to find out if they got sick.(Hillary's new healthcare plan). Once the single moms ran out of mail, she would declare her district was now fully employed as a result of her actions. Once some of the starving kids beat the rickets after licking 10,000 letters and still surviving, she would announce her healthcare plan was a complete success.

Hope you are right, because under the tort of "False Light", you could owe the good doctor a whole lot of money.

False light is not the tort of libel or slander. Basically, it is any "commnication" that could cause people to see him in a position of defamy that he is not entitled to.

I think I have to agree that this makes it less likely that the person sending the anthrax is a foreign terrorist. Leahy is a jerk, as we all know, but he's not the Majority Leader or really anybody who would be on the radar screen of al-Qaida.

It looks like the October 9 anthrax attack was directed to liberal weenies. Brokaw, Daschle, and now Leahy.

I'm sorry to say this, but this looks like a domestic rightwing terrorist, or somebody who wants to blame the right wing.

If Tom Delay got a letter and then Brit Hume would you leap to the conclusion that it was a left winger?

If someone selected only Republican targets in a Democratic controlled government then I would consider that as probably indicative of a domestic political selection process. The media tagets were just media targets.

I didn't leap to any conclusions, I said the target selection was one of the reasons the profile is not of a foreign terrorst. This is simply a fact. The FBI released their profile recently.

BTW, you can call call them "jumping to conclusions" if you like, but profiles aren't intended to be taken as absolute. They are a tool to narrow down classes of suspects and are based on very well researched data. But they aren't magic and no profiler claims a given profile has to be right.
