Dan Rather just stated on the evening news that a second anthrax letter, postmarked from Trenton NJ on Oct. 9, was found in the undelivered Senate mail, addressed to Senator Patrick Leahy.

Frankly, I'm absolutely appalled. Do you realize HOW LONG it took them to locate this letter? How many MORE weeks will it take them to locate other envelopes???

Weird....I can only think of one Repub who has been sent a letter (and he was a Northeastern Repub). Is Leahy a Jew? I have noticed many of the targets have been Jews also. Bin Laden and the Islamic terrorists, as well as Iraq (I am assuming the Iraq one, but know I remember hearding the others) are known to hate the Jews.

What is it about politicians who by the way, have office staffs of enormous proportions, that they can't open any of their mail until six weeks after it is sent? Really, look back at all these incidents. They range from one month, to six weeks! What is it they do in those offices besides tell each other they are the center of the universe?

all the mail from that period was confiscated long ago. I guarantee you this was not found in Leahy's office, just addressed to him.

This was found in the ENORMOUS stacks of mail that was stored and not delivered once the Daschle letter was found...it never even got to Leahy's office.

There are thousands upon thousands of these letters and you can't search them without wearing biohazard gear...there's nothing suspicious about this taking that long, going letter by letter through them.
