The above was provided for informational purposes only - NOT for discussion or "choir practice." However, the question still remains as to what we true American patriots should do to stop the Million Mom March, Brady Center, and other gun control freaks who continue to commit acts of cultural and political domestic terrorism against true Americans and our individual right to keep and bear arms, even post 9/11.
If any of you have any other stories to report regarding the gun grabbers and other domestic terrorist activities or organizations that support gun control, please post them on this thread. Thank you.

Funny, I've been hearing that gun sales have been tremendous since 9-11.
Even in California. Would, would...Brady *gasp* LIE about that?
To: Hail Caesar
What about the sales of rifles and shotguns?
Also, sales of handguns say nothing about the rate at which criminals are acquiring them in comparison to prior years.

"NRA Suffers Defeat in Virginia"" (HCI)
Really? The GOP just took over the Virginia House Of Delegates for the first time in recent memory. Also, a syndicated "mainstream" media column yesterday attributed Warner's win for governor as largely being due to his coming to a truce with NRA on gun issues!
"Million" Mom March - the truth, with photos!

I know this isn't supposed to be "choir practice" (a wonderful term for it), but I want to add my 2 cents. If you read the referenced article in the LA Times,
total firearms sales are up:
Since the Sept. 11 attacks, sales of all guns--handguns, rifles and shotguns--have averaged roughly 9,000 a week, about 25% higher than the same period a year earlier, said Mike Van Winkle, a Department of Justice spokesman. But during the riot years of the early 1990s, gun sales averaged about 11,500 a week.
I think tougher laws limiting handgun purchases have been effective on law-abiding citizens (not criminals, of course), causing them to buy rifles and shotguns instead of handguns if they don't already have a handgun permit. That was true in my case. I'm still working on the lengthy permit process for a handgun in NY. It will take at least 6 months, and I might not get one or only a very restricted one.

"Despite the gun lobby's hype following the terrorist attacks, handgun sales have fallen dramatically over the last decade because most Californians don't want handguns anywhere near their kids or their neighborhoods Truth Translation: "Despite the gun lobby's hype following the terrorist attacks, handgun sales have fallen dramatically over the last decade because most Californians don't want handguns anywhere near their kids or their neighborhoods California gun control laws have made it increasingly impossible for the law abiding citizen to buy and own a handgun and as a result, has been effectively disarmed or are going across state lines to buy their fireamrs.

I dont know about California, but here in Florida they can't keep hand or long guns in stock. They are selling faster than they can stocked. Ammo ? Forget about it; it has gone up about 50- 80% in price, but sells all the same. The prudent seem not only to be keeping their powder dry, but are buying ( a lot) more as well... Sorry, Sarah, we will not surrender, not one inch...

Who cares about the People's Republic of California! What about the rest of the nation? Oh, that's right. Their figures wouldn't fit into the gun-grabbers propaganda that handgun sales are going down.

Terrorists do not want armed subjects. They have that in common.

I recommend a class action law suit naming every government official, every private organization and every private individual that has conspired to deprive citizens of their constitutionally guaranteed second ammendment rights. The NRA should have done this decades ago. If nobody does, we're going to loose everything.
When our rights are recognized right up there with civil right for minorities, then we'll have won the battle.
State Attorney Generals are required by law to defend constitutional rights against infringement. There isn't an AG in this nation that wouldn't jump in if a minority individual's rights were being infringed. Fat chance getting them to do that for gun owners.
The penalities are severe. They should be brought to bare.

Well, the million mom march will be short that one anti-gunner who got a gun and murdered the wrong person that she said killed her son! Woops. Maybe she will speak from experience via video connection or something like that. Maybe Susan "the commie" Sarandon will go to the prison to interview her for the anti-gunners and say, this is what happens when you get a gun. A good person goes bad. Latada latada.

Save this press release.
When the crime rate in California increases over the next few years, shove it back in their face.
