The "votomatic" used for ballot tampering with thousands of ballots was the source of the "dimpled ballots".

Don't forget the very first question to ask is "Why were the military absentee ballots not counted?" They still have not been counted in many counties in FL. It is Veterans Day for the Government tomorrow and the press trashes their Commander-in-Chief and that day and at the same time is not even interested in their ballots that were tossed out!
The press that participated in this charade should be absolutely ashamed of themselves but guess you have to have a conscience to be ashamed!

Ha ha, is Drudge scraping the bottom of the barrel or what?
Drudge may be making a big deal out of this "analysis" and trying to spin it into something people care about,
but in the end, it's a yawner. Frankly, I will be surprised if this "story" gets the headlines Drudge predicts.
"Impacting...." Ha ha ha...! Sure.
It's a weird concept though - - the media creating a story for itself and then trying to make it a big story.
Anyways, it's back to the real news for me. See ya....

It just doesn't matter. God counted the votes.
To: PhiKapMom
did they also count the votes in carol roberts found in the trunk of her car

there-in lies the rub: how many were for Buchannan and not for Gore?. I recently learned that the Democrats spent the days before the election calling people, handing out flyers etc. instructing their constituents to "vote number 2." When they discovered the ballots were arranged in the butterfly format to accomodate the third and 4th party candidates, they sent out damage control (press conferrences etc.) Too late. Of course, they knew this was going tto be a problem for them so insted of admitting they goofed, they sent the goon-squad (Jesse and Co) to cry about "fuzzy" ballots etc. etc.
Anyway. this was and still is very silly stuff. In short, The democrats are an effective political powerhouse, but they failed when it mattered most. Too funny.

What the media have done is documented the massive democrat vote fraud which luckily failed to succeed in stealing the election. (They do it everytime, actually.)

BIG MEDIA FLORIDA RECOUNT: GORE TOPPED BUSH IF ALL UNDER/OVER VOTES COUNTED; LEGAL STRATEGY DESTROYED CHANCES
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit DRUDGE REPORT**
A vote-by-vote review of untallied ballots in the 2000 Florida presidential election commissioned by the nation's main media outlets shows Al Gore edged ahead of George W. Bush "under all the scenarios for counting all undervotes and overvotes statewide," the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
APCNNNYTWASHPOSTLATIMESNEWSDAYCHICAGOTRIB will splash in Monday editions an election review which will ignite total controversy during a time of war, publishing sources told DRUDGE on Sunday.

Bush would have narrowly prevailed in the partial recounts sought by Gore, but Gore could have "reversed the outcome -- by the smallest of margins -- had he pursued and gained a complete statewide recount," according to one interpretation of the database compiled by the monstermedia consortium. [Each media outlet will produce a news analysis based on the database product.]
Under any standard that counted all disputed votes in Florida, Gore erased Bush's advantage and emerged with a tiny lead that ranged from 42 to 171 votes.
Gore followed a legal strategy that would have led to his defeat even if it had not been rejected by the U.S. Supreme Court, according to one interpretation set for publication.
Gore sought a recount of a small number of disputed ballots while the review indicates his only chance lay in a course he advocated publicly but did not pursue in court -- a full statewide recount of untallied votes!
Gore took a 171-vote lead when the consortium tried to recreate how each county said it would handle a court-ordered statewide recount, and a 42-vote lead under what was called the "Palm Beach standard".

All outcomes were closer than the 537 votes of Bush's official victory, the media outlets will claim, while noting it would be impossible to interpret the survey results as definitive, with such narrow margins in all directions.

Correct.
Since SCOTUS ruled that all the hand recounts, already conducted in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties were illegal, the margin of Bush's victory should have reverted to 957, which was the result after the first mandated automatic recount, 327, plus the 630 from the absentee ballots.
Not the 537 that was erroneously certified. That 537 was after the illegal recount findings were subtracted from Bush's total.
Harris screwed that up, in my opinion.

The democRATS have a poll up on democRAT.com. "Did Bush Win the Presidency or Did He Steal It."
You can Freep, er I mean vote HERE. Vote early and often, just like the democRATS do!
To: jern
The big problem here is that it was only due to Gore's legal "strategy" that there was any talk about counting non-votes as votes. If the law had been adhered to, there would have been none of the idiocy of dorks peering fish-eyed at unvoted ballots trying to divine voter intent in a way that would benefit Gore.

The unfortunate fact is that a fair number of the electorate will be moved by this sort of journalistic crap.A very small number, I think, and those would be the parasites and malcontents who are too bitter or ignorant to ever vote Republican anyway. This media created "story" will not get much attention (waaaay too old) and won't last 24 hours. A real who-cares yawner.
