Uh - hello, people. Am I the only one who's not blind? What, you think he'd nuke himself first, just to have an "excuse" to nuke us?

I didn't say it was a sure fire winner strategy, but if anything would unite them it would be a nuking of an Arab country.

If he had nukes, he would say "If the U.S. persists in its attack on Afghanistan, we will use them".
He knows we won't use chems or nukes, which means he has zip.

"Perfect,...we can now vaporize him, and claim he blew himself up." A perfectly legitimate "Plan B"...

I think the only way to unite the muslims would be to nuke mecca during the "great pilgrimage".

I didn't say it was a sure fire winner strategy, but if anything would unite them it would be a nuking of an Arab country.Hypothetically, if our nuking of Afghanistan did unite the Arab/Muslim world, what would they do about it?
NORAD to the President: "The Muslim world is united against us."
President: "So?"
NORAD: "They have called for a jihad."
President: "So?"
NORAD: "They have a billion people and have launched one nuclear missle toward LA."
President: "Really, I didn't know they had that capability." "OK, decrease their population by three quarters."
NORAD: "Yes Mr. President."
Hope it never happens.

If he had nukes, he would say "If the U.S. persists in its attack on Afghanistan, we will use them". More likely, he would say nothing. He'd just use them without warning, for maximum shock value.
Big boo-boo on Binnie's part if he really said this. (Pak media makes stuff up all the time, though.) It shows his hand ... looks like a pair of deuces to me, versus our straight flush. I'd say Binnie's a dead man, and he's starting to get a bit nervous as that fact sinks in.
Also, as "Dallas" points out, if we want, we can pop off a 10 or 15 Kt nuke over there and just say, "Hmmm ... must have been OBL having an accident ... not one of ours ... so sorry."

If he'd like to find first hand out what a Nuclear Winter is like, all he needs to do is set one off.

Didn't Bush say something about such things? Didn't he suggest they'd use them. Wasn't this just a few days ago? Maybe he knew this story was coming. Bush said that O.B.L. was attempting to acquire nuclear material, which is a given since some people have already been arrested in the attempt. That's a ways away from actually have done so. The timing of this, coming as it does with some bad reversals for the Taliban, are no mere coincidence, in my opinion. O.B.L. wants to freak us out, and declaring that he has nukes seems like a way he'd try to do that. Deploying a nuclear weapon seems like something he'd have done at the first. If he has one and saved it until now when we're on hyper-alert and hunting him like the dog he is, he's not much of a tactician.

On that Python note...his mother was a hampster and his father smelt of elderberries. He's a second-hand electric donkey bottom biter. Also, his "nuke" is likely to only be the unleashing of Monty Python's "Attila the Bun"! NBD

Thanks Ern, I'm of the opinion that he does have em and he will use em in a manner that will kill the most Coalition GI's at once. he's an idiot that in all likelyhood has purchased the weapons and Limited Life Components that support em from the starving russian guards that were left to secure em while they watched their own families starve during the breakup of the old USSR.
Too easy to say on paper they were dismantled or demilled/scraped for the SALT agreement folks and then let em travel overland in a number of countries experiencing massive chaos and anarchy where bribes aka "bashish" is indeed a way of life out of necessity.......
Course the good part of all this is it's just my opinion, perception etc etc......Hope I'm wrong.
Stay Safe Ern and have a good weekend...

What's the deal? Why would he make this statement?
does he want to suggest to moderate Islam that the Jihad is NOT fruitless? That they can make a stand and perhaps have an impact?
Interesting. Why would he say this?

Yeah, those brave terrorists use the sneakiest methods. Sneak attack, hit and run, blow up children and innocent civilians. Toe to Toe this will be interesting. The media have been warning us and our military that we can'twin. WHY NOT make the region into glass?
