Think about it. You know what was sent. The authorities won't say what it was, but it's a substance that often has salmonella in it, and will ferment if kept in a closed container.

I believe maybe I misstated; he said that that is where salmonella comes from, so that's a starting point. I did hear that maybe somebody sent him some food and it just went bad! Chicken salad? Miracle Whip?

This is such a bogus, non-story story, CNN doesn't even have it up online.

"THIS HAS NOTHING to do with the other mailings” that have spread anthrax in Washington, New York, New Jersey and Florida, Secret Service spokesman Jim Mackin said. Salmonella is a common food poisoning bacteria that rarely is deadly.

Mackin said 15 vials containing an unknown substance were in a package received at Clinton’s office in early October. Tests showed the bacteria was “not lab-cultured salmonella,” he said. Instead, the fermentation process turned the substance into salmonella in two of the vials, Mackin said.

He said “certain writings” were included with the package, but he did not elaborate. Clinton did not handle the package and nobody has gotten sick from it.

No other contamination was found but the Secret Service is continuing to investigate the matter. He would not divulge the postmark but said it had been in the mail “for some time.”

“All of our protectees from time to time get letters that can be classified as unusual,” he said. “The timing is bad.”

It's going to be soooo much fun finding out this was a package of love goodies from one of Bill's bimbos. It was probably private mail, and that's why none of the staff wienies could open it in a timely manner. If The NEWYORKPOST doesn't do some good reporting and find out who sent it and what "it" was, I'm going to be soooo disappointed! I'm sure John King will let the story die, no way will he give us "the rest of this story".

Thanks for the welcome. I didn't post this out of vanity I posted this because I wanted to make sure it was placed under the correct topic area. I don't think it deserves much more attention other then that of a bad joke. Clinton just wants to make sure his name stays in the news. I thought this post would give it the attention it deserved. As you can see I did not bother putting fourth to much effort towards the subject.
I’m wondering if I my have a cause of action against CNN, when they broke this story I shot hot coffee through my nostrils causing burns in the nasal passages and staining my shirt.
