When you start your own political website, then you can enforce any ground rules you want for posters. JohnHuang2 does a great service for many FReepers by keeping them informed of significant and worthy threads. I don't mind scrolling through the "pings" and I believe the vast majority of FReepers don't either. There's only a few sour weenies like yourself, that have to let everyone know how pissed off and inconvenienced they are. Big deal.

Couldn't agree more.

It's nice to see Rush receiving support from such an influential individual webber as Joseph Farah, but it's also very puzzling to me. It's quite clear that Farah truly hates President Bush and the policies of the Bush administration. It's also well known that Rush has offered overwhelming support for the President and his agenda. Time and again Rush has voiced this suppoort and approval for the President, while Farah has taken every opportunity to trash Bush.

Perplexing to say the least.

I've been praying for modern technology to help Rush continue to produce his daily show. This column suddenly makes me realize something that there is something that modern technology will be unable to provide -- the ability to allow Rush to continue with his impeccable impersonations! Only God's miracle will allow him to keep that gift, so I shall pray for a miracle.

I am so glad I found this tribute piece to Rush. There can never be enough words to describe what he has done for AM radio and for this country. He has helped to make so many of us better citizens.

We need his voice more than ever and as Rush said on his show this morning, "you are fortunate to have me as your host - I am fortunate to be your host - We are fortunate to have each other!"
