Philosophy like that is what started the Crusades a thousand years ago......
And it is still the right idea.

Let's see, if I had to choose between Ann's columns and Johnah's...I would take Ann's columns any day, every day. I have heard her on TV and read her articles. Coulter always has a great sense of humor. For instance, she is right is asking how many blond women hijack planes, so why go through her luggage? It's the wrong solution. I would not have written exactly what Coulter wrote, but I applaud her style, humor, and courage.
I view NR as the most conservative liberal publication I receive. Not as bad as Newsweak. So I expect little of NR.

GO ANN!
Leave the NR girly-men behind, and good riddance.

I am with Ann. Enough PC language. This war is a Crusade and we call it Infinite Justice.
Goodnite all. I will be praying that the Washington wimps finally let it fly.

Ahhh, nothing like conservatives fighting with each other. Nice to see that things are starting to get back to normal.

I do not blame Ann for beeign fired up in the heat of the moment, but the folks ay the National Review should take a second look at their decision. I think it is a little premature and hasty to dump Ann!!
It is the human factor, not the journalist who made Ann made some off line statements, in light of the tremendous distruction of the Twin Towers.I sure hope that cooler heads will prevail at the National Review head quarters.

EVERY, and I mean every, country that there is a large concentration of Arabs there is the resulting decay of society and the terror attacks. Just take a globe and spin it. Every country that has a large Muslim population sooner or later becomes overrun with the terroristic activity. Ours has just caught up with us. I applaud what Ann says...NR is weak-mouthed from the days when Bill Buckley ran the show. She speaks the truth: THIS IS A STRUGGLE BETWEEN WESTERN CIVILIZATION (CHRISTIANITY/JUDAISM-FOR THOSE JUST TUNING IN) AND THE MARCH OF THE INFIDELS (THE MUSLIMS AND ASIAN MONGULS-BACKED BY CHINA). Wake up, before your civilization is sweep away by this bunch.

Ann Coulter is ahead of her time. Shame on National Review! Looks like the PC cops have gained a foothold in the offices of NR.

National Review Online Editor Jonah Goldberg said: "We didn't feel we wanted to be associated with the comments expressed in those two columns. Jonah could not contain his glee when John McCain bashed evangelical Christians during the primaries. The phoney waited until Kristol and a few others also bashed Christians before he rewrote their comments, added his usual cutesy phrases and passed it off as original.

The national review sucks anyway. Ann needed to move her byline from that rag. Her statement was tough and so is she. She was only saying what most are thinking but afraid to say except in private.
To: Ann Coulter
Annie -- that's why we love ya! If the National Review suddenly prefers to be the PC antithesis of what they profess to oppose, then "toodles" to Jonah Goldburg and company.
Of course the gist of your comments flew over people's heads -- seems everyone has their own agenda, eh?
Your point as I see it: If the issue for Terrorist Islam is to shove their religion and ideology down our throats, we can reciprocate -- WITH DUE FORCE, IF we wanted...IF that were like "them."
To: Ann Coulter
She said yesterday that National Review Editor Rich Lowry and his deputies "are just girly-boys
Yes!
To: JeanS
she can do much better than nr.

"If National Review has no spine, they are not my allies," Coulter said yesterday. I wholeheartedly concur.
JohnHuang2 <---will never again post anything from National Review

As much as I would like to see these evil two legged cockroaches crushed it would be wise to consider they own the oil we are going to need to kill them with. Also consider this: the Muslim population is around one billion, with their sheer numbers alone we might even lose if our goal is utter eradication.
Christianity used to be a pretty militant religion but it has mellowed through the centuries by splitting among so many fractures that the firm hand of reason now restrains it. That is the cure to the Moslem infection: make its peoples free to practice any version they want and it will fracture on its own.

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity," . . .
A. . .'just kidding'. . .from Ann and a short leave to cure her 'migraines'; and it might have been okay.
From a more practical standpoint, her idea would really take too long. But if we just made valleys where mountains once stood, it might speed up the cultural evolution.
. . .'swarthy males'; well, a little vacation added to her 'leave' . . .
Given the hires, fires. . .resignations et al; these tough times. . .make for a lot of 'coulda, shoulda. . .woulda. . .
