I belong to a Republican email list that has undergone a spam assault from overseas since this weekend. Several people were bounced from the list as a result, and now they've switched tactics: resubscribing under "American" names, just to dump their propaganda all over people who COULDN'T care less for their opinions. I was pretty irritated at first, but then this letter arrived. Just look at all these "straight lines" begging for a response.
(some of the names have been omitted, to protect the innocent. The author's name I left in.)
-------------------------------------
Dear _______,
I'm agree with your thought.
I'm so upset either.
My feeling is the same.
But your letter isn't finished completely.
We have to know:
1. Who had hit us so faithless?
2. Whose "real ability to make it" is it?
3. Who benefit? Qui prodes?
Usama will be punished at last!
He deserve it!
His time is over!
But will be it over for us?
Look: it isn't his real ability to make this hi-tech crime.
Arabs just say:
"Supposed we can do it.
So is it a good idea to make this hit against America?
We had to do it against Israel first!"
...I can't say any objection!
Can you?
It's a real point for our citizens group for discussion,
to understand it right.
What really happened there?
=================
I want to get one more explanation:
That "smart" criminal group had prepared a parked car --
with the Quran, pilot manuals, credit cards and just the Will
-- for the FBI's investigators convenience.
Everybody understands
it's a prepared false lead against Arabs.
But what does it mean?
It means
IT WAS NOT ARABS CRIME really...
I try to understand:
who could organize this anti-Arabs false lead?
Usama Ben Laden?
Could somebody clear my mind?
= Eugene.
You call that a freep?
It was about on the level of a gnat attack, really. It only amounted to 20 badly-written variations of "The Israelis Did It", and some guy from Islamabad asking if he could IM me. LOL.
Attention not pay to curtain man behind.
Just as I thought, Jar Jar Binks is a Dem Disruptor!
Reply in kind...
...with a virus that will wipe out their hard drives.
= Eugene.
Uh, careful with that axe, Eugene...

Japanese just doesnt translate very well into english, and that is the general reason for "all your base". Use an online translator like Babel Fish and visit some Japanese websites. 8th MAN!

All your country are belong to us.

I can imagine the lips moving out of sync with the lines spoken.
Where is MST3K when we need it?

I was thinking of this song last week, painted on a cruise missile
Hey Mr. taliban
Tally me bananna
Sunshine come
And we sending you home.
I understand sunshine to be an affectionate name for the fuel-air bomb.
So, "irony" isn't quite the right word. I'm surprised that I'm able to find any humor in the situation, but...the letter's just funny. I can't help it.

We used to have fun with Babelfish on another forum--pick a phrase that has the word "dead" in it, translate it into Portuguese, and then back into English. "Dead" always comes up as "inoperative". And nothing else makes much sense after it's been through the translator and back again. Portuguese must be hard to learn.
Yep, I can see "clear" through now. Good work!
Well Im glad you could see it since Geocities has put data transfer limits on it
