Items from the past included: books, baked goods, paintings, floral arrangements, arts and craft projects, tickets to the Theatre, plants, tools, misc. white elephant items----tacky, practical and priceless items will be accepted!! Hey MUD, VA is a little far from AZ. I have run golf tournaments and charitable silent auction events, and the best prizes are the ones that can be used readily..the farther away the date, the less the appeal. Big hits here are rafting trips, golf, hotel stays, and major sporting events. Try to get some local specialty stores with a promise of advertising. We put it on the web.

I wish I knew more about your event, but get people out and about to request donations--rarely was I turned down. You might include raffle tickets for smaller prizes.
