OK, here goes: a damnyankee is a person born north of the Mason/Dixon line who HATES all things SOUTHRON including but not limited to our people,dixie freedom flags,anthems,monuments,relics of our fight for freedom,symbols,culture,foods,mores,etc. damnyankees are LOUDspoken,hateful,pushy,arrogant,self-righteous & generally socially un-acceptable to loyal southrons. the prototypical damnyankee spends all of his/her time visiting the southland telling all and sundry how stupid, incestous,backward,lazy and ignorant ALL southrons are.
