I'm in Allendale, and I know that at the train stations of this town and most every other town around here,like Ridgewood,the situation is the same: cars that no one came back to on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and today.

I know of no Freepers, but I am sure there had to be at least a few. You don't necesarily need to haunt this board to be a "Freeper". There were many, if not all, given a second chance, who would be proud, or consider themselves "Freepers".
God bless the FR and Jim Rob...but the sentiments that are tapped, encourage and flourish here, speak to a much broader sentiment...They were all Freepers...my two cents

Lowie...I don't know if you received a FReep mail from a friend of Stanz, but I got one this morning. Stanz is okay, but is not able to post. She posted on FR from her office computer and the building that she works(ed) in is unstable. She isn't on line at home. Just thought you should know.
I, too, have wondered about our fellow FReepers from NYC and in the Pentagon. I've been praying for their safety.

I went to the NY page and started clicking on the NYC area freepers profile, then "find in forum" -- some have been here lately, others have not been this week.
Since I woke up a half hour ago out of a sound sleep by the sounds of screaming voices saying "another plane is crashing down" I don't think I want to check any further.

MANY people commute into NYC from New Jersey and Connecticut to work also. The World Trade Center was like a small city by itself and thousands came from all over to work and visit.
I am afraid that we will find that we have lost at LEAST one person in New York. It seems that we have lost a few in the Pentagon. It is all so tragic.

I am a New Yorker, and am okay, physically. My daughter was at One Liberty, however, and saw the whole thing, falling bodies and all. She took shelter in the basement of Trinity and then ran uptown. She is in pretty rough shape. I have such sadness, and inability to concentrate, but am ready to do anything I can to help my country, and to help the people who weren't as lucky.

All: How about we post a message for all to check in on the NY message board?? How about all the people who attended the protest in NYC? Maybe they could do some checking since they all probably met there?
