"What we saw and heard and touched is the material for nightmares, a human hell," reported an American Episcopal priest returning from a January 1998 trip to Sudan.
The country of Sudan, already enduring seemingly endless civil war, is being devastated by a jihad led by the militant Islamic regime in Khartoum. Their tactics include aerial bombardment of citizens, scorched earth and destruction of livestock, forced displacement of over three million people, abduction, imprisonment, torture, execution of men, abduction and enslavement of women and children, and forced Islamization and conscription. The government justifies its reign of terror and Sudan persecution by claiming that it is a "divine mission" in the name of Allah.
By their own admission, militant Muslims see Sudan persecution as only the first step in an attempt to impose their brand of radical Islam all the way to the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa.

Zana was confident her own sins had been wiped clean when she accepted Christ as her Savior.

Christians in Indonesia are fleeing for their lives as Muslim jihad warriors continue their latest plans to bring all Indonesia under Islamic "sharia" law. In Ambon, the terrorist group Laskar Jihad Ahluss Sunnah Wal Jamaah is now ready to pursue a Jihad mission in Poso, central Sulawesi. A banner on the web site of the Laskar Jihad (www.LaskarJihad.or.id) promotes violence and incites Muslims to join the ranks of the jihad to fight against the Christians in Poso, throughout Indonesia and beyond.
(July 25, 2001 Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) The government of Saudi Arabia appears to be launching a major sweep of Christians in the city of Jeddah. At 12:00 midnight Wednesday, July 25 five agents of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) once again raided another home of a Christian suspected of leading home meetings at which Christians gather for prayer and Bible study.
Eskinder Menghis, an Ethiopian working in Saudi Arabia, was awakened along with his wife and three children as MOI agents entered the family's home. The agents gathered up Bibles, books, family photos, video and audio tapes as they forced Eskinder to go to police headquarters for interrogation.
Eskinder's name was on a list containing several names and addresses of Christians living in Jeddah who were on a computer taken when MOI agents conducted a late night raid on the home of Prabhu Isaac a week ago today. He was subjected to psychological torture until the names of the Christian leaders of the home meetings were extracted from him. Prabhu is from India and has worked in a hospital in Jeddah for the past 17 years. He remains under arrest in the Farifia Prison. His wife has made a tearful appeal for help in getting her husband out of prison, but so far no government has been willing to intervene, including the United States.
Yep, a real "peace-loving" bunch, I'd say.

So where's the accountability in all of the supposedly tolerant, peaceful Islamic nations, in which there is no separation of church and state - nations which are irrefutably Islamic nations? I can't remember ever hearing about a terrorist put on trial in an Islamic land.
Does Jesus say to worship him or doesn't he? In the book of John? Hm? I know he doesn't say to worship Mary, Catholics came up with that on their own. But he does say that he is the son, no one comes to the father but through the son, to worship the son is to worship the father, all that. I mean, that's the WHOLE POINT of Christianity, isn't it??
Jesus declared he was/is God and didn't reject being worshipped by his disciples, so you're correct on that score.

I'm not sure who you're referring to, but I'm a minister, and I think that's nuts. When MOST of us are saying that, you'll have a point. Consider this observation by Ron Williams, ex-Secret Service, "Dr. Siddiqi was at the National Cathedral at president's prayer when on October 28, 2000, he was outside the White House with 5,000 demonstrators sponsored by Hizbollah and Hamas, shouting "Kaibar Kaibar, oh Jew: Mohammed's army's coming after you, Death to the Jew, Death to America."

We SHOULD invade those countries, and we SHOULD kill their leaders, because they are the monsters behind murdering savages around the globe. The Christian faith, unlike Islam, is not one that can be forced on another, since it requires a very personal faith relationship with Christ. It wouldn't be a bad idea to try to convert them, though. Why? Because "christians" who commit atrocities do so in defiance of the Bible, while muslims do so in radical obedience to the koran. As Christians, they'll be a LOT less likely to blow up embassies, office buildings, or pizzarias.

Moslems do not appreciate having non-Moslems quote the Koran to them, especially when it appears to criticize something Moslems are doing (such as the Iranian hostage taking in 1979). Well, I suppose that's pretty much standard in all religions. And, of course, nearly all of us have to rely on translations of the Koran, some of them done by people whose grasp or candor about the intricacies of Islam might be a question mark. And, on top of that, there are other sources of Islamic religious teaching besides the Koran.
So I suggest: Listen to what the authentic Arabic religious leaders of Islam say that Islam teaches. For example, the PLO's Mufti of Jerusalem says, repeatedly, that the Koran lays down as a religious duty that every Moslem must try to kill any Jew or American anywhere and of any condition. The Iranian Ayatollahs teach that the Koran teaches pretty much the same thing. And you hear the same from the Imams of Iraq and the Sheiks of Syria.
Now, who's word are you going to take about what the Koran teaches? Those Arabic sages who have studied it many many years in the original language and with all the historic commentaries, or some homogenized Readers Digest-type English simplification?
