Excerpt from Drudge Report:

U.S. Rep. Martin T. Meehan (D-MA) scoffed at reports Air Force One was targeted by terrorists - the reason Bush aides have put forth to explain why the president delayed his return to Washington after Tuesday's attack on the Pentagon. 'I don't buy the notion Air Force One was a target,' said Meehan. 'That's just PR. That's just spin'...

(202) 225-3411 Meehan office number...

This is the letter I sent to the puke Meehan!

To the Honorable(?) Represenative Meehan

'I don't buy the notion Air Force One was a target,' said Meehan. 'That's just PR. That's just spin'...

Sir could you please explain this statement? Does this somehow help all those people who died in this terrible attack? Were you tryin to score political points and show your true colors even while brave Americans were risking their lives diggin in the rubble of the Trade Center? You should be ashamed of yourself and ask your maker and the citizens of the USA for forgiveness! Now is not the time for your pitiful Political agenda!

Let me be clear! Now is not the time for your Anti-American tripe and if you somehow feel the President should not Lead us to victory in this War against terrorism please exit the country to your right, we don't need pitiful excuses of people like yourself to hinder our resolve!

Nuff Said!

Michael L. Morrow

Not A Republican...

Not A Democrat...

An American...

Tried Meehan's D.C. office several times - always busy. Here's phone # of DNC House leader's office - I just called and told Gephardt to tell Meehan & Neal to SHUT UP - America did not need their political flack during this time of our tragedy. Have at it Freepers.

Here are two local numbers for Marty Meehan. He is getting swamped and deserves to be:

978-459-0101

978-681-6200

I am from Massachusetts. Marty Meehan represents me in Congress. I cannot put into words the contempt that I have for this little man. He attends the Independence Day parade in my hometown every year (Chelmsford). I would like to organize a Freep on July 4th so that we can give him the reception he will deserve.

I will do everything in my power to ensure that the career of this scumbag is over. He was elected to Congress as a supporter of term limits and promised to serve only two terms. Of course, the liar broke that promise. If he kept that promise, he wouldn't be in the situation he is in today. We should haunt this guy to the end of his term. We shall never forget.

What burns me is that this idiot evacuated Congress along with everybody else on Tuesday. He took himself out of danger and then has the nerve to criticize President Bush for wisely taking himself, Air Force One and the 100+ passengers that fly with him out of danger as well.

This was my letter to the a-holes

Congressman Martin Meehan: Congressman Richard Neal:

I find your recent comments about President Bush wholly inappropriate. This past week has been very difficult for us all, but the one common thread giving us hope is that we will come together as Americans to do whatever is necessary to avoid ever having to witness this type of tragedy again. That you would look at these events as an opportunity to score political points indicates to me that your priorities are severely warped.

As we have heard, from Republicans and Democrats, Christians, Jews, and Moslems, this is a time for unity, not because unity is what we want, but because it is what we need. I am continuously impressed as I hear of our citizens coming together with courage and dedication to risk their lives in the rescue attempts, to give blood, to donate money clothes and food. These people have put down their biases and "us vs. them" mentality to work together. That two US congressman are incapable of this same unity, even for 1 week, boggles the mind.

As a resident of the 9th district, I guess I am used to congressmen of Joe Moakley's caliber.

200 FReepers help Rep. to board a little rubber tube and make sure he lands in Bay of Pigs safely.

Rest of the FReepers collect money for more tubes.

Hit them where it hurts. Tell them you are going to give money to a rhesus monkey if they are running against them. Tell them the only way they can win their next election is if they run against Osama Bin Laden.

For the story behind the story...
Thursday Sept. 13, 2001; 9:17 p.m. EDT
Fox News Channel's Brian Kilmeade grilled him on whether he missed a chance to prevent the worst terrorist attack in world history during his own presidency.

KILMEADE: Mr. President, there's a report today that you had the best shot at (Osama bin Laden) in December, in the waning weeks of your presidency and at the last minute you said "No,too much of a risk." How true is that?

CLINTON: No, it's not true. The best shot we had at Osama bin Laden was when I bombed his training camp in 1998 and we missed him by just a matter of hours. Maybe even less than an hour.

KILMEADE: Do you feel somewhat responsible?

CLINTON: Well, let me say this. We tripled the intelligence budget for counterintelligence -- for counterterrorism. Because I believed, as I said, that these kind of threats would be the most likely ones.

I watched the appalling news conference with Ari Fleischer and the media whores SCREAMING out their INANE and INSANE questions as to just WHY Bush didn't fly back to the White House. It was clear that they thought that Bush should have come back to get himsef and the thousands of Republicans in the White House KILLED!! That would have made the media whores VERY happy. It would have Made their day. It was truly revolting. Marty Meehan as a Jew should THANK God for Bush's safety.

Looking back at the articles about Congress being evacuated yesterday, I don't see anything saying everyone except Rep. Meehan left the building because of the bomb scare.

Maybe he's not so brave when he thinks his ass is on the line.
