This was my letter to the a-holes

Congressman Martin Meehan: Congressman Richard Neal:

I find your recent comments about President Bush wholly inappropriate. This past week has been very difficult for us all, but the one common thread giving us hope is that we will come together as Americans to do whatever is necessary to avoid ever having to witness this type of tragedy again. That you would look at these events as an opportunity to score political points indicates to me that your priorities are severely warped.

As we have heard, from Republicans and Democrats, Christians, Jews, and Moslems, this is a time for unity, not because unity is what we want, but because it is what we need. I am continuously impressed as I hear of our citizens coming together with courage and dedication to risk their lives in the rescue attempts, to give blood, to donate money clothes and food. These people have put down their biases and "us vs. them" mentality to work together. That two US congressman are incapable of this same unity, even for 1 week, boggles the mind.

As a resident of the 9th district, I guess I am used to congressmen of Joe Moakley's caliber.

I'll bet it won't be long that e-mail server crashes!

On a different note:
Everyone in at my company just gathered to pray for those affected by this tragedy, and for this country and our leaders.
All who are reading this, please take a moment today to remember those whose future is gone as a result of this.
Also, pray for America's future, which will now be vastly different.

FRegards,
CD
