That is exactly what I told my wife I would hope that I would have the courgage to do in that situation. I could not imagine just sitting back waiting to die while letting these evil peole kill hundreds or thousands more.

If there is such a thing as Saints for Liberty, it is these brave civilian passengers who sacrificed everything they had to save fellow Americans.

PRESIDENT BUSH SPEECH 09-11-01 PARAPHRASED

We will identify who did this action. We will locate them. We will find out what government and country permits them to exist, either through direct or indirect support.

We will consider any country that helps them, even if it is through inaction, to be associated with these individuals. This was an act of WAR. We Americans will treat this as WAR.

The individuals whom did this directed this operation from a patch of land. Every patch of land is defined by a country. Once we identify that country, that country will experience the entire consequences of our anger. We will engage that country and the inhabitants of that country as enimies of the United States.

Because the United States is a member of NATO, all NATO allies are bound to participate with the United States against this country. If Congress determines that a state of war exists, the American people will support full operational activation of the nuclear weapons at our disposal.

The Premier of Russia has conviened with the President and has agreed to support the United States actions without question.

Is this shocking? haven't you heard this? Perhaps it is because you (any one not understanding the rage we Americans feel) do not understand the real consequences of this action. I don't know one American, not one, (and I live in Boston - Liberal Mecca of the Nation) who does not support Nuclear confliguration.

THe reason Camp David is considered a likely location involves several elements. The first is the symbolic element of defiling the ground on which the Camp David Accords were signed, signalling a nullification of Palestinian/Israeli peace. The second would be that it is a somewhat remote location, and publicly identifying a target that posed no threat to the general population makes people feel safer. Olliver North indicated that both Ft. Meade and another major command center in MD would be on or near the flight line that the plane was on.

I am curious about some of the reports I have heard about the plane that hit the Pentagon. rumors abound that it made a pass at the Capitol and White House but instead turned to an alternate target, the Pentagon. First, I am not certain that the Pentagon was an alternate target. Displaying the vulnurability of our military by hitting the Pentagon has made a significant impact in terms of shock value, which is the goal of these kinds of attacks. There was time, before the Pentagon crash, for scrambled fighters to reach DC from Andrews. I am wondering if ACAP were in place over the WH, which is restricted airspace and a clearer firing mission, and if that is what caused the plane to divert? I wouldn't even call it a theory, just an interesting question I'd like to see answered.

Yes, they were heroes and God bless them.

One thing working in their favour was that from the maps shown on TV the guys on this flight had the most time to react. From reports their reaction was one of the bravest things I have every heard of.

If given more time maybe the passengers on the other flights could have stopped these terrible attacks.

If you want to live in a free country surrounded by enemies, tragedies like yesterday WILL occur, no matter how vigilant our intelligence services are. I'm proud of how our Representatives have responded from our President all the way down to that lowest of life forms, Diane Feinswein. (gotta call 'em as I see 'em, and she was right up front calling for a response so strong no one will ever try something like yesterday again)

If you truly love America, you would not be criticizing today, you would be mourning these murdered citizens, thanking God that more did not die and honoring these brave men and women that sacrificed their lives for the ideal that is our Nation.

My grandfather, who was a civil engineer in Poland during WWII, was shot by the Nazis for refusing to help them rebuild a bridge destroyed by the Polish underground. His heroism and memory will live on for generations in our family. His bravery is a daily inspiration for me, 45 years later.

Mr. Barnett will be remembered in the same way by his family for generations to come. Although his children will no longer have a father, they have a memory and honor that can never be taken away.

This entire disaster could have been averted if the pilots NOT OPENED THEIR CABIN DOOR!!!! There should be reinforcement and strict rules regarding cabin door security.
