Peter Jennings Criticises President Bush's Leadership During this Crisis
Posted on 09/11/2001 10:19:29 AM PDT by IWONDR
Anyone been listening to Peter Jennings on ABC?
He is criticising President Bush saying it's been two hours since he spoke from Florida; that the President needs to demonstrate more vigorous leadership during this crisis. With the largest attack against the U.S. (internal to our borders) in history, how can this talking head suggest that the President needs to be making PR appearances, when he needs to be conferring with top security officials within the government and elsewhere in order to ascertain whom was responsible, and to coordinate and develop an appropriate response?
I think we need somehow to let Peter Jennings and ABC know that we cannot accept this ridiculous criticism of Pres. Bush when the nation is in the midst of this crisis. PR, would of course, be the first response from our former Prez, and Peter would be lauding ex42 regardless of what he had done, if this had occurred on his watch.

Too bad ABC Mr. jennings wasn't located in the trade towers. It may seem innapropriate to say something like that right now, but its the way I feel.

I think we need somehow to let Peter Jennings and ABC know that we cannot accept this ridiculous criticism of Pres. Bush when the nation is in the midst of this crisis.Did Peter Jennings ever acquire American citizenship? Maybe if he wants to stir up a panic, when everyone else is maintaining calm, he ought to be interned for the duration of the crisis--then deported to some place where he likes the style of the leadership better.
This is a bit like the crying "fire" in a crowded theatre. It falls outside the First Amendment.

Did anyone in the press criticize Clinton or the US Intelligence on the day of the OK City bombings? The focus was on the victims and locating the terrorists responsible. Dems. and RINOs are crawling out of the woodwork to criticize President Bush on FoxNews, including Brit Hume who seems to think we should all be told the exact location of our President in the midst of a concerted terrorist attack, and Weldon (D-Pa) who chimed in with his opinion that our President has gravely let down the nation (paraphrasing) before the dust settled in NY City. Shame on the lot of them.
I'd be looking at the various well-financed, organized anti-global, enviral groups spreading international hatred of the US and promoting violence. The hate America, no respect for human life crowd is concentrated on the left.
Who are we fighting?

During ABC live coverage, the smarmy, sanctimoneous, Canadian transplant Jennings, after President Bush declared that freedom will be defended, made a wisecrack like "Well, it wasn't defended today." The bastard.</font size>

ABC will hear from me, Peter jennings should be fired for these kinds of irresponsible remarks!
To: IWONDR
He is a non-registered agent for the Palestinians, Democrats, and the rest.

I couldn't believe my ears when Jennings was making those remarks. Good for the internet and Freepers for catching this treasonous action. E-mail is on the way!

As a Canadian I formally apologize to the American people for the existence of Peter Jennings. He is an eternal source of shame for Canada.
To: IWONDR
I'm usually pretty critcal of Bush, but today he stressed that "freedoms would be protected". That's what I wanted to hear. Jennings can go pound sand.
Prayers for the wounded.

Everybody's got an opinion... Peter Jennings has one more, just like the rest of us. But, being an outsider (canuck), and a high-school dropout, he's not exactly
qualified to put his two cents in on
anything...
Wouldn't know that by watching him, though, would'ja???

The attack on Pearl Harbor was against a military target. Horrific as THAT was, those military guys KNEW it was a possibility in their 'job description'. This attack on the WTC is an attack against civilians. People who were in their everyday jobs. People who were just taking an airplane trip somewhere.
Bottom line in all of this...may the US definitively discover who is responsible, and SPARE NO QUARTER!

WOW, even THE BUG (Begala) is finally keeping his Bush-hating yap shut for once.
.......But that Clymer Peter Jennings certainly has shown his true colors. Go back to Canada and never come back, you Clymerous Maggot!!!!

Peter Jennings better shut his stupid damn mouth before someone stomps a shithole in it. Gore ass kissers better keep their traps shut too. It's Klinton-Whore's pissing around with the military and degrading it into a homo/feminist pile of shit social experiment and joke for 8 long years that has resulted in its current state of ruin.

Let ABC know about it. I sent them an email and told them Jennings was an IDIOT, that this Canadian was trashing our leadership while the country needs to be pulling together. You can do the same
HERE .

Allow me to criticise Peter Jennings' performance. I watched him for about 20 minutes. He looked tired, and sounded confused, disorganized, and inacticulate. He lacked focus and concentration. All in all a shockingly bad performance for ABC's top gun.
